Can those that feel threatened by a sixteen year old girl kindly continue, where this thread belongs, in NP&E.

This sub forum is for moaning about crap adverts and why the latest films are st.

Save your angst for the appropriate sub forum.

And you as well , are you coming back to actually put a little meat on the bone of your argument ?

What has this media savvy activist said that makes you believe she doesnt have sympathy with this far left hate group?
Oh I don't know
Excuse the snipping but that is the only relevant bit.

You aren't coming up with any 'facts'..

If you saw a guy in a Britain First T shirt I don't think you would give him the benefit of the doubt, would you?
That's a bit different. Britain First is a particular group with a particular manifesto and reputation
If he was wearing an "I heart England" T-shirt, would you say that automatically means he is a member of Britain First?

I'd happily wear an Anti Facist T-shirt. I wouldn't wear a AntiFa T-shirt though, as i do not align myself with that specifically-named group.

That is why i used Britain first as a comparison. They are like Antifa, but less violent smile

And no, If i saw someone wearing an 'I Heart Britain' T shirt, I would not associate them with a right wing organisation.

Why do people keep saying that people feel threatened by her?
Is it because of her association with Antifa that we should be afraid?

I agree about the thread being in the wrong forum, I am sure it will get moved soon enough, until then, how about just not looking at it if it upsets you?

Exactly. Some people just don't want to recognise that she wasn't wearing and Antifa T-shirt in the first place.

So why is wearing an Anti Facist T-shirt akin to wearing an AntiFa T-shirt?
It wasn't an AntiFa T-shirt she was wearing in the pic.

It doesn't seem impossible to be anti-facist and at the same time anti AntiFa (more anties than an indian wedding...)

No problem. smile It's a shame that Antifa are leading us in a direction where such confusion occurs.

Watched a little bit of her "how dare you " speech but switched it off.

What an irritating little bugger she is.
Watched some of this presentation, what struck me was her need to continually look down at her notes, like every ten seconds or so. For me a presentation so full of passion should come from the heart, like she really believes in what it is she is so very angry about. Maybe I am a cynic but I failed to be convinced that the content was anything other than a production from ‘behind the wall’. I much admire presentations that are heartfelt and not a robotic action. Sorry.
For my part of saving the planet I have ordered a coffin made from sustainable wicker.

That picture is important because it highlights a deep seated insidious racism at the heart of many in the environmental movement. Constantly saying that the economic model of ever increasing growth is broken and needs to be stopped is precisely the same as saying you don't want poor people in Africa, Asia and south America to have the chance of a decent life (which they have increasingly been getting due to rapid economic development).

What is really sad about all this is that our world faces many genuine problems, including big environmental ones. However sadly much of this movement had been captured long ago by revolutionary Marxists. It's quite depressing actually.

I simply don't agree that most people saying we need to reduce energy use and emissions are pointing the finger at less developed nations.

You do have to laugh at the idea of where a pathetic little weakling like ms. Thunberg would find herself in whatever post-democracratic system it would be that antifa "achieving success" at whatever it is they're fighting for would put us in though.

So many things wrong with this meme i don't know where to start.

Climate change deniers? I don't think i have ever met anyone that denies that the climate changes. The planet is heating back up after the last ice age.

And what is this business about angry old white males?
Sexism, ageism and racism in one quick sentence!

And the suggestion of sexual assault?

Is this what the lefties call humour?
I'm not a leftie. I laughed. I laughed even more at your butt hurt comments.

Yes Greta you pick that nasty crust off and waste it, no big deal wasting perfectly good food. I’m sure you grew those bananas in your back yard and all that plastic has been used and used. Train runs on unicorn farts and was made with solar.
