I was thinking that, but didn't post it.
Sorry (honest, guv), I couldn't resist; the opening sentence reminded me of a foot stamping, spittle spraying child not getting its own way.
Says the man so triggered by a 16 year old girl he stooped to calling her a despicable name which got deleted by the mods as being completely unacceptable.

Triggered? I’m not the one foot stamping, spitting, and running to moderators complaining about other’s post, just because I disagree with them.

Instead you're the one spitting your dummy out over what a teenage school girl says to the point of calling her obscene names that you wouldn't in public. laugh

Even now she 'flicks your switch' as demonstrated by your conjuring up of a puerile name like Gretian.

Looking at the thread so many people pointed out how wrong your crass name for her was that I suspect more than one person hit the report button.

The Labour Manifesto has just called for the building of new houses at a rate not seen since the pre-fab era after the second world war.

How does that match up with the green promises ? Building stuff is bad for the environment on many levels, waste, pollution, loss of green space and trees, vehicular movements and the dreaded carbon emissions.

We are told we have a shrinking birth rate and a reducing population too, so are we now simply building houses to put people in who might be coming here ?

Good to see the networks going with the current scientific consensus and not giving any weight to the rambling of loons who are backed by exxon oil cash.

Also good to see you are still getting your daily fix from rabid right wing blogs. wink

I just looked at the front page of that link laugh

I'll have to correct you there, the Australian rambling loons are backed by mining Billionaire Gina Rinehart.

She gave over four millions dollars to the Institute of Public Affairs "charity" in 2016-2017 to lobby against action on climate change and support removing the minimum wage. All familiar themes for anyone aware of the parallel work of The Heartland Institute...

The term used is neither obscene nor inacurate. I do use the term in public, and whilst not everyone approves, you would be doubtless be surprised at the support its use in this context gets.

A little more imaginitive, and accurate, than the Gretian favourite of "flat earther"; you all believe in Gretianity, whereas no realists believe that the earth is flat.
You may be interested to know that flat earth theory was spread by the experts of the day during the dark ages when people were not allowed to read the bible, in which the earth is very clearly described as being a sphere. A little like the experts of today stating categorically that there is a climate emergency, supporting their claims by controlling and manipulating information.

The fact that you, and possibly others, disagree and were supported by moderators doesn't make me wrong.

  • China now has almost 150 gigawatts of coal-fired capacity under active construction
  • Global Energy Monitor, a non-profit group that tracks coal stations, obtained this total by examining plant-by-plant data
  • This is equivalent to the 150 gigawatts of existing coal capacity in the EU
  • It exceeds the combined 105 gigawatts under construction in the rest of the world
  • Beijing remains fully committed to coal as its biggest source of power and has put decarbonisation on the back coal burner
We'll always have Paris for pointing and laughing.

So China will make and sell us low carbon stuff but its all made in an ultra high carbon industrial zone.

So upgrading to Chinese low carbon stuff is worse for the environment than just carrying with what we have and making it last.

How unexpected.

China, and to a similar degree Russia, play the west's climate fairytales obsession like a fiddle.

They're watching the west undergo expensive and pointless self-inflicted economic contraction with lifestyle ecofascism to go, while making the right noise once in a while as they carry on with policies that give energy security and cheap power for homes and businesses.

Yes it is obscene and inaccurate to use the term you used for her and thankfully the mods and most right thinking people agree with that and it was removed.

And yes flat earthers is an appropriate term for those who don't believe the science but see conspiracy instead.

IPA... now didn't they come up recently as the mining billionaire Gina Rinehart backed loonies/Heartland Institute clones?

Is this anything to do with IPA falsifying Great Barrier Reef footage to show "Everything is ok"

I am happy to debate, but not to enter into eternal contradiction.
Flat earther is an appropriate term to describe those who believe that the earth is flat, not those who refuse to accept hysterical outbursts from a teenager suffering arrested mental development, and vested interests.

Some of the USA hurricane data which is skewering silly statements from silly politicians was in Truchelut and Staehling. ISAAC is integrated sorm activity annually across the continental USA. They can't hide the decline in peak activity from 1930s warmth (tax gas insufficiency alert). Memo to gov Cuomo, several hit New York City before climatewang.

Talking of NETCW (natural early thirties climate warming) let's not forget 1930/31 in the Arctic when it was 4.6 °C warmer than the 1981–2010 average, with Calm Bay at 10.7 °C higher in February 1931 than in the modern period, skewering claptrap about unprecedented Arctic warming (data from Araźny et al).

Cool.
