Completely contradicts the BBC report. Does not mention the bed until 13.5 hours later. Someone's not telling the truth. Nice little political plus ta the end. It doesn't excuse BJ reaction but smells of dirty tricks

Good to see we're on to the parents.

Sounds about right.
Are you suggesting we should just accept any thing we read and would you drag a sick child of yours out of their hospital bed, while they were being given oxygen, to another patient?

Come to think of it, you come across as the type who just might, and that ain't a compliment.
I don't have a clue what the poor child's situation was which is exactly why I'm not making assumptions or calling the parents decision making into question.

There's a transcript of the recording on YouTube.

Edited to add that it isn't a transcript it is the recording.

I know there is and good old boris agrees at the end to supply the address.

I was just wondering how big a hole Gooner would dig for himself today.

At the very least boris lied to guppy, its almost as if you can see a pattern in his behaviour.

Was he dragged out of bed Goon ?

That sounds terrible, you should investigate post haste !

,

No, you are just making assumptions about those that are asking questions.

You know that and I know that because we've listened to the recording.

The best bit is people will defend him for it.

They probably don't know why if you actually asked them.

Boris, Brexit, probably something to do with "leftists".

He's nothing away from the control of others. He makes appalling mistakes when he's off the lead.

We saw this when he was foreign secretary. Now he's prime minister, are we to expect anything different? He's struggling. We don't see him in interview because his lack of ability and good sense will be exposed. In this case, he showed how poor he was.

Others have suggested the boy only had a cold and tonsillitis as if this somehow excuses the lack of bed or the lack of competence under questioning of Johnson. Some should get a grip.

Johnson is out of his depth. He's been out of his depth since he was a journalist.

People are voting for this buffoon. He will lead this country.
He already is leading this country Derek.

Since his appointment of leader and therefor PM, he has moved things forward and changed the policy towards more long term investment in the areas the Tories under May and Cameron have neglected.

Can he be a screw up and not very slick at times, of course, does that mean he won't do well as a PM? Time will tell.

With regards to not doing interviews, he did one this morning and this issue came up then. He apologised then for it as he did to the journalist who pulled out the photo. https://youtu.be/LCx_PUWys3Q

There is a simple choice here, vote for the Tories and what that may bring, or vote for Labour and what that may bring. The country is going to reject the Marxists IMHO, the vast majority of people i know, including life long Labour voters are going to vote Tory. The only one i know who is voting Labour is a lifelong NHS nurse who always complains about the NHS, no matter who is running it.

Alternatively don’t vote at all and hold on tight smile

We are basically being asked to choose between a st sandwich or st on toast.

Neither is that palatable but it’s amazing how many people are happy to be fed st !

Ultimately there are only a handful of key seats, and therefore a relatively small slice of the population who actually matter.

What most do us do is going to have limited effect.

What a few do so going to have either a big one or a very big one.

No trig, pneumonia stricken 4 year old Jack had a full and frank discussion with A+E doctors,
hospital administrators and his parents, and on reflection of said discussion mumbled his consent,
through his still attached oxygen mask, to give up his bed.

As to investigations, I think I'll leave that to others, if that's ok with you. biggrin

One can only hope that those who fill up these NPE threads on a daily basis, gleefully scoffing and and slating MP's from all sides for being so utterly and totally inept will no doubt do their very best to become the politicians of the future. We, the idiotic and easily led public, will be fortunate enough to vote for them and will do far better for this country. Should they be able to drag themselves away from the keyboard.

Oh Boris, Boris............why the hell can't you just be a little bit agile in your thinking?
Just say "it looks bad, but I really don't know the full facts, I promise I'll look into it".
The NHS is a key issue in this campaign, surely you'd expect some tough questions on the subject. Dolt!

He should now apologise profusely, and instruct Matt Hancock to look into the story, perhaps speak privately to the boy's parents.

I hope this doesn't prove too damaging.

In fairness there aren’t many who are saying MPs almost en masse are inept on this thread.

That’s the preserve of the real loons on the Brexit threads smile

Omfg. biggrin. That's one hell of a departure from conspiracy to cause physical harm to another.
Give your head and a half a wobble sons. smile

Btw, I listened to the recording too, quite some time ago.

I think your first sentence sums up the concern that many have over Boris.

I sincerely doubt it’s going to be enough to stop him breaking the winner’s tape on Friday morning but it is something he needs to sort out and pronto to avoid becoming embarrassment and therefore sitting duck for forces within his own party.

He was recently described somewhere as an intellectual classicist lacking in intelligence which sounds about right.
