So vote for the party you agree with. Not who others tell you

You might think the conservatives would be worse in a majority Government. You might think the geen/libdems can’t win in your constituency but labour could. It’s usually about stopping brexit or reducing the conservatives majority.

“There has since been an explosion in demand (obesity and related conditions such as diabetes, an ageing population and so on). ”

Since the conservatives took over?
Yes. For example, an increase of 22% in A&E attendances between 2008 and 2018.

Anecdotes are very interesting but this is the reality of what has happened:

Labour fixed it, the Tories undid it.

Average nurse salary in the UK is £24,500 and the bursary for training has been removed so they have a small mountain of debt too. It's no wonder there are tens of thousands of vacancies.
It's widely acknowledged that doctors and nurses need to be trained and aren't just waiting at the job centre for the next vacancy to appear.

Hypothetical: So, knowing that you need to plan for it, and knowing that there were 21 million A+E visitors last year, How many A+E visits should you plan for in the next 5 years?

Labour "fixed it" by building a load of hospitals paid for with PFI. Some of those trusts have since gone bust as they can't afford the repayments and the actual hospitals have cost many times their actual costs in interest.

Still it looked good for a small amount of time and made Labour look good. It's the same as their promises now - they have very little detail on how they will pay for it. I'd rather then country took a long term view and lived within it's means.

Say you support the greens, don’t particularly like labour and absolutely hate the conservatives and don’t want brexit.

You see that the greens are expected to get 100 votes in your constituency labour 15,000 conservatives 16,000

Which is the best option to get the least worst outcome for you?

I've had nothing but very good care on the NHS, and still do.

But then I'm a metropolitan elite in elitist out of touch London.

Well apparently Boris has found a magic money tree to pay for all his promises...

That’s easy. All the posters claiming it’s a fake.

My wife was due to give birth at the same hospital as these events, however on the night she went into labour it was full and we were sent to another one.

Our first thought wasn't to contact the national press about how my wife and her exceptionally high blood pressure were hatefully disadvantaged by the evil government not running the NHS properly.

But then we're normal people.
Obviously you are mentioning it on a world wide media platform though.
Attack the poster, pure PH attitude!
I haven’t attacked anyone. I just held up a mirror.

no, the difference is he's a liar, but that's just banter. When anyone else does it - its outrage.

That’s why it’s called tactical voting ....

Let’s say, your party has no chance - for whatever reason. The reds and blues are the ones in contention. You dislike blues more than reds. Etc etc.

The picture isn't a fake. It's definitely a child on top of some coats. However, the story behind why the child is on top of some coats has been embellished by some to the point of fakery.

Actually this is fake news. When the photo came out and Boris tried to ignore it the Tories went into overdrive on the fake news, using sock puppet accounts to post copy/paste text claiming to have a friend who is a nurse who said it wasn't true. The hospital itself confirmed that it was true.

Although it was quickly debunked it has unfortunately worked on people like you who are now confused about what is true and what is fake news.

Nope. You have jumped from "having to wait in a seating area" to "being forced to sleep on some coats".
Like I said, the story has been embellished and has worked on people like you.
