You seem to be making things up.... as far as I can see from the reports Matt Hancock was in a car travelling somewhere else and did not know about and had nothing to do with the claims. I am happy to be proved wrong if there is video of him 'inventing' the story...
You need video of him inventing a story that's already been debunked. Classic PH NPE...
You said he invented the story, which seems to be a lie, in a post complaining about him and others lying...hilarious...
The lies seem to have been born from the omitted fact that young Jack was originally being treated
in a bed. Why is there no photo of that I wonder. scratchchin
Omitted fact? It was in the original bloody news story.

I am finding the excuses and justifications for the appalling way the Conservative PR machine reacted to this story astonishing. Do people just really just not give a st any more? Are people so fixated on 'their' team winning that they'll accept any third rate propaganda that's thrown their way?
Boris could have looked at the picture and said "I don't give a st"....and I would still vote for him rather than Corby, McDonnell etc smile

That's the problem really, too many people who believe all the BS about Labour and too many people who just want a kamikaze brexit no matter what.

Let's just hope there are enough level heads to prevent Boris from running rampage for the next 5 years. Can you imagine being here in December 2024 arguing over brexit and trade deals again? Well, it will probably be December 2020 actually, because that's the next no-deal cliff edge.

Already posted, it was GMTV or whatever they’re called now, Jonathan Swain. A hard hitting journo if ever there was one rofl Boris sidesteps bellend isn’t a story. Unless of course you have column inches or tv shows to fill in desperation.

This is just happening, ITV Wales Adrian Masters, not the GMT thing. Bojo here a short while ago.

I expect ITV have upset Cummings a lot and they are refusing to do ITV stuff.

I think all reporters now should carry a blow up BoJo in case of no show and interview the blow up.

Was being the operative word.

If a photo of young Jack receiving treatment in the bed originally allocated to him had been posted,
there likely would have been no story. BTW, I'm not aTory.

The video on that link went to the GMTV one this morning? Anyway, never mind, it’s all getting a bit silly season now.

I believe the things Corbyn and McDonnell say and do. If it's bullst, you need to take it up with them.

Also I'm ex-forces so don't have much love for terrorist sympathisers.

That it will be chaos. As if Cameron, May and Boris haven't delivered chaos.

That you will be poorer, as if you didn't get poorer under Cameron, May and Boris.

That Corbyn is some kind of communist, just like every other Labour leader has been accused of being including Blair.

Thank you for your service.

How would you have felt if it had been your child in the picture and Boris had acted as you describe?

I, like a good many people here I suspect, would not have taken a photo in the first place. Certainly wouldn’t have sent it to a newspaper, let alone in an election week, and then have the complete temerity to plead for privacy. Only a complete moron does such things. In other words the question is totally irrelevant because my child would never appear in the press in such a picture.

1) tell him to get off the floor and sit on his mum’s lap if he wanted to be comfy.
2) wouldn’t have given a toss.

The whole thing is a confected storm. Let’s be clear the lad had flu and tonsillitis.

There will be much worse examples of NHS neglect, having just extricated my mother from a geriatric ward after a head injury where the level of incompetence was mind blowing, and pinning the PM on the spot with a picture of a kid is just poor television stunt work, and the tv media wonders why BJ and chums are attempting to work around them...

Yeah, it is a messy link but the Welsh angle is in there further down.

Still, press blackout tomorrow.

I don't recall Blair ever being called a communist...

He literally targeted centre left floating voters. It's why he won, twice!

To be fair he did keep some of Labours ideals. Big benefits for the workshy, massive uncontrolled immigration to keep wages low, cronyism.

All Corbyn has done is cement Labours old ways of massive spending, try and tax the st out of the top earners to fund it, use the usual line of "They are all bds the rich" and have no clue about economics.

Remember Labour have been in office several times in the last 100 years. And at NO POINT have the poor become significantly wealthier. Mainly because that's not how the world works.

Indeed, because he wasn't.

As to Corbyn and McDonnell, da tovarisch.

Ambush: a surprise attack by people lying in wait.

Waddle, quack, duck.
Clumsy = done without skill

Inept = bungling, inappropriate to an absurd degree

I’d say Johnson’s handling of a simple situation was not just clumsy. If his reaction to such a situation is so inept, what happens when difficult stuff arrives, as it will?

And as we’re on inappropriate modifiers, no way was that an ambush. There was no concealment. In fact, said journo showed Johnson the image from the start. It was door-stepping; nothing more than an everyday attempt to obtain an interview, or piece to camera, from someone without prior arrangement or agreement, by confronting them in a public space.

It goes on every day in the life of a politician. Yet our dear leader hasn’t cracked it. Taking the phone from the journo . . . no, I think inept is being too generous to the oaf.

Inept is your view and you're entitled to it. In my view a rash response would open the door to a charge of ineptitude, and that door remained shut via a clumsy sidestep.

We had a false analogy like yours earlier today, it involved EU negotiations.

Difficult stuff will arrive, but not so much live on national TV and in a highly emotive context one day or so before a general election.

That won't recur for (probably) 5 years, at which time there'll be another irrelevant performing arts competition.

It's of very limited importance in the bigger and far more high-risk picture of a prospective far-Left Labour government, as 15 ex-Labour MPs have pointed out very clearly in their political advertisement.

I don't think Corbyn is a real communist. He'd like to be but he doesn't have the balls. He's a ditherer. A pound shop imitation. Instead he has a proper Marxist as his chancellor. McDonnell is the scary one.
