All footage seen so far suggests the vehicles/ truck that are in odd positions were to try and let police through, rather than being used for any sort of aggression.

A BBC reporter has just stated that people have given reports, saying the police were firing shots at the truck, but not confirmed.

Yeah, if that was me I'd be dropping it pretty pronto in case another armed copper appeared from out of nowhere and thought I was one of the perpetrators. Would probably have slung it in the river. I expect he was absolutely overflowing with adrenalin if he's disarmed the bloke though. fking hell. Medals for all involved.
