Evening,

Currently between me and my partner we own 2 2 seater coupes so mine is currently up for sale with the idea of replacing it with something still mildly interesting but with plenty of space.

I keep going back a forth between an e46 tourer, and a FN2 Civic Type R? I’ve had both an EP3 and an FN2 before which were great, and a e46 330 cab. The only thing putting me off is I have had one before? Anything else anyone would recommend?

Cheers!

How about a BMW 130i?

Or if you could live with a Saloon maybe an E90 330i - 330i Tourings seem to be significantly dearer, and hard to find.

Legacy Spec B, either UK 3 litre or JDM Twinscroll.

Potentially quite juicy I’d guess but fairly reliable?

Mid 20s overall for either, over 30 on a run. No great trouble if serviced properly. My twinscroll went for £4k including a bunch of spares/service parts and had had everything that needed doing, done... there are always a few good ones out there, no need to settle for anything rough.
The "Spec B" name is due to Bilstein suspension. Drove exactly the way a decent sized estate shouldn't wink
