4. Order an immediate enquiry into how the NHS is funded and run & how it can be made better. But heres the kicker, make it cross-party, say to the Labour Party, Lib Dems and Scots Nats. "You all appear to have some good ideas about the NHS and this is the most important promise from all our manifestos, why don't we all sit down, have a discussion and see what the answers are?"
Looks good to all the new Conservative voters and a great way to call out all the other parties into bringing the country together. & if the Labour Party refuse to take part while screaming on twitter about splitters and Trump then it will only reinforce what a lot of people in this country perceive that they are like these days and will make their popularity figures worse.
This really is something that needs to happen. All it ends up with at the moment is everyone promising to throw a bigger bag of money into it than anyone else.Looks good to all the new Conservative voters and a great way to call out all the other parties into bringing the country together. & if the Labour Party refuse to take part while screaming on twitter about splitters and Trump then it will only reinforce what a lot of people in this country perceive that they are like these days and will make their popularity figures worse.
The intention should be that a balanced review team between all parties needs to be something that can and should be maintained and passed between parties regardless of who wins subsequent elections.
The end game should be to stop using it as a political football.

I was thinking maybe a Royal Commission. There's a precedent, last one was in 1979.The intention should be that a balanced review team between all parties needs to be something that can and should be maintained and passed between parties regardless of who wins subsequent elections.

....We need to see some of these benefits ...
1. ...When we say done we mean as promised so we’ll be looking for trade deals ...
2. ... We want the cash that was promised please...
3. ... NB This is urgent.
4. ...NB This is also urgent.
5. ...We need to see this soon if possible. We don’t want to see the downturn that “project fear” predicted. We don’t want to be poorer. We don’t want to lose out.
...Roll up your sleeves, pull your socks up, dig deep....
....We honestly hope we’re wrong and that you can make a success of this but if you can’t then we will forever tell you that we told you so.”

Lots of demands and speaking for 16m in here, let alone continuing to forget about the 17m.
Some people will simply never, ever learn.

No can do comrade. Not pro Labour but pro EU and don't want to leave but there is nothing we can do now except look forward to saying "we told you so". Nice one, Workington man. Rejoice.
REJOICE.
Read this article earlier. Workington man said: "I’m not daft. I know Boris isn’t going to do anything for me but at least he’s committed to making Brexit happen. That’ll do for now.”

Passive-aggressive isn't a good look for Remainers. There seems to be a fair bit of it about at the moment, understandable I guess. You guys will be feeling as badly bruised as I felt in 1997. Take heart: the Blair government wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared, life went on. The same applies to Brexit. It'll be OK.
LOL the Blair government was terrible, so many broken promises, cancelled road projects and bypasses and then left the country with Gordon Brown to make Blair look good, witgh the result that we had years of austerity to pay off all their mismanagement. Someone has a very short memory. The deficit seems better controlled for example. (Or did, until all the spending pledges issued forth...).
Austerity had everything to do with the country having massive, massive debt as a result of a massive deficit.
Not a bad start. The sort of think that would have mobilised extreme media and establisment resistance if labour had proposed it.
What other goodies do we have to look forward to?

He says he wants to heal the country and bring it together. So first job must be phoning Rees-Mogg, the most divisive member of the govt, to sack him.
If Rees Mogg has any roll in the new govt, then that's Boris's first lie exposed.
Why would giving JRM a role (sic) in government be a lie? Presumably Boris would think that JRM is the right man for whatever job Boris has in mind. Or do you just think that choosing someone of whom you disapprove has to be "a lie"? I think my definition of lie differs from yours. If Rees Mogg has any roll in the new govt, then that's Boris's first lie exposed.

6. You’ll also need to “bring the country back together”. This might be tricky as a lot of people seem to be really really angry with each other.
Other than on t'internet and social media this really isn't the case eg in real life people just seem to be living their lives as per the last 3 years.TX.

I think it's a lie because giving JR-M a role will indicate to me he has no interest in healing the divisions at all, and it was all a load of flannel to win votes.

IR35. I dropped my MP an email and we had various communications on this. A couple of days later Javid is reviewing it (for your vote?). I hope its not just for my vote.
The tories could retain a lot of ex labour supporters and contractors/self employed if they get this right. If they don't....they won't ever be trusted again.
