Wow that's not gone down well at all.

Neither has her tweet today desperately trying to link the deportation flight to Windrush.

It's almost like she decided to see how much support she can deliberately throw in one day?

Hope she wins, for entertaining politics sake

Newsnight tonight, Labour "lot"

Good lord what a "weakling choice" Labour voters have to choose from.

I read that Emily Thornberry has lost out in the leadership race after not securing enough MP's to back her.
I think she can take heart from the fact that she won the argument

She'll be fine.

She's already secured a role in the private sector as an ambassador and influencer for an innovative and well-backed California start-up, who have developed a ground-breaking stealthed foot-long custard doughnut which you can scoff without anyone noticing.

The global market in guilt-free low-visibility food is estimated at $3.5 billion by 2015, and her stock options will be worth millions.

Only 188 days to go until the world championship... she needs the practice...

Christ. That brings back (vague) memories. I was an air-roadie at the World Air Guitar Championships for a couple of years.

It all started with a couple of mates from college of the Full Wild International Rules Drinking Games persuasion deciding that the "Finish" rule - if you say the word, you have to finish your beer - would be best explored by a trip to Helsinki. Because the Rules apply to verbal conduct, rather than written, it doesn't matter if you said "Finish" or "Finnish", you're still seeing it off.

Somewhere on this misguided venture they found a student poster advertising the first, or maybe second, World Air Guitar Championships in Oulu, happening that very weekend, and off they went. To cut a long story short, one of my mates - let's just call him Lobster - finished third in the Championships.

The next year, we were all going. Obviously. I'd even got "WAGC - Lobster, The Thermidor Tour" t-shirts printed. Then it went a bit turbo when the BBC found out about the World Air Guitar Championships, and invited Lobster on to the breakfast TV show, on the day we were all flying out.

Bless him, he duly turned up on the sofa on the BBC show in front of millions, dressed like a pound-shop Bono. After talking some crap with the host - getting his air guitar out of the box and tuning it up for the benefit of the viewers - things took an unexpected turn when the host said they had some previously unseen footage of Lobster at Oulu the previous year, which they'd like to show. Lobster didn't have a clue such footage even existed.

Cut to the video of Lobster stumbling around the stage at the Championships, several light years off his tits, air-playing the Ace of Spades on a really, really small air guitar, with some very suspicious looking stains on the front of his trousers. Cut back to the studio. Stunned silence for a couple of seconds, and then Lobster remarked that playing air guitar was more difficult than it looked....and they went off to the next item.

Met up at Heathrow a couple of hours later, and off we all went to Oulu, via Helsinki. Absolute and utter carnage ensued for three days. Lobster finished absolutely nowhere in the Championships, and the rot had set in - people who could actually play guitar were taking part, which ruined everything. Didn't stop us going back for another couple of years though. Happy days.

There are several deep metaphors in there, relevant to the hole that Labour find themselves.

Not sure what they are however, great story though. hehe

Slightly back on topic..... wink

Poor old Emily!! I had to pop and check that one of my wishes had actually come true!

Surely this tells her something? She behaves like Labour Royalty and only got through to this last phase by the skin of her teeth and has now miserably failed to get into the final ballot!

Deluded arrogant bint.

Can’t stand her and her false joviality and laughing at her own jokes in debates any hustings..... awful woman!!

I'll have a week of rest now, then it's back to the day job of holding this wretched Tory government to account on its foreign policy, and doing so with the same passion, tenacity and forensic skill I've shown for four years in that role

hahahahahahahaha forensic skill what a load of crap.
When asked 'why did you tweet a picture of a house with an England flag hanging up' she responded 'because my brother in law is a builder and drives a white van'. If she thinks one person who reads that believes that then it shows what an unterly deluded fool she is. Can't stand her.
