it's sad that people feel this way about Labour now. We need them to stop moaning about the election result, open their eyes to the reasons why they are currently perceived as unelectable, stop dragging their heels electing a new leader, and to start behaving like a serious opposition party able to at least worry the government into debating things properly in The House. Having a strong opposition to hold Government to account is vital to democracy, but Labour look like an opposition in name only right now. The circus that is their leadership contest is distracting them from discharging their duty as opposition MPs, and the longer it goes on the harder it will be to rebuild the party and regain the support of the electorate.
I don't care who they elect as leader right now, i'd just like the whole distracting sideshow to end and for them to get on with their jobs again...
