And young people need managing, mostly face to face, at the early stages of their careers.
Businesses need young people to keep the wheels spinning.
I can see there being an increase in WFH of course but not of the kind speculated on here.
Just to reinforce this point.Businesses need young people to keep the wheels spinning.

ALL of our new starters from the past year are still on furlough. The rest of us are very busy but it wasn't working with new starters WFH.

Saw a survey at work that said the under 30's preferred working in an office to WFH.
I'm 100% certain that the WFH 'dream' won't happen for many and office attendance will still be required at least 2-3 days a week. Larger companies will fear a loss of control over their employees as it's the only management style they know, and won't be able to get rid of high priced, long term office leases in city centres. Would love to be proved wrong.
For a significant number of people who never had the option before - 2 or 3 days in the office and 2 or 3 WFH would be the WFH dream. I agree, that would be ideal for me. I'd miss the social interaction at work if i'm honest but would love to spend half the week working from home.fiatpower said:

Out of interest, why have they chosen that date? Is it riding the storm or is it that long to decide what to do/implement etc.I do kind of miss going there for the social side, but that’s life
