Big boost for online shopping, Royal Mail postman to collect parcels/letters on their rounds for a 72p charge. Or 60p for prepaid items.

There is a GAP Outlet in a shopping centre near me, having not shopped there in years I popped in the other week
They were offering 30% off everything in store, then 20% weekend bonus and they allowed my wife to use her student discount
I picked up a nice think fluffy hoodie for about £14 in the end so got some trackies and general 'loungewear' seeing as we are home so much

There is no point in GAP, surprised they are still in business but guessing they sell well in China and India?
I quite liked gap; they did a wide range of jeans that actually fitted me.Castrol for a knave said:

only 10 years too late, as well as the post persons turn up at random times. Perfect for all the FRH but for most normal people pointless.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8861539/P...

Customers can pay online or on the Royal Mail mobile phone app. They must print out a pre-paid label and stick it to the package, before leaving it on the doorstep or in a safe place.

That's not a bad process. I can see a lot of companies just paying for the return charge upfront when a customer buys something and either taking the hit or increasing their delivery charge slightly to accommodate for it, then being able to off "hassle free returns - just leave on your doorstep".Customers can pay online or on the Royal Mail mobile phone app. They must print out a pre-paid label and stick it to the package, before leaving it on the doorstep or in a safe place.

As already said posties certainly round here don't have a set time the deliver. Not sure I would leave a parcel for collection on our doorstep. Have had enough issues with sending stuff back. Without the added certainty of did they actually pick up the parcel.
I know a couple of posties and for them it could be a nightmare. All it would take is several large parcels and they won't have the means to carry them.

2- you get a time slot so the postie has to rearrange the delivery to get to you.
