Exactly. Too many Remainers bleated on about "democracy" and having a respect for it yet went out of their way to deliver the precise opposite of a democratic vote. Not just any vote but by a long was the largest single turnout in British democratic history. Not only that but the Remain camp in Parliament (democratically elected, no less) went out of their way to frustrate the very promises they had themselves made time and time again over a period of years.
Sections of the Remain side have been every bit as bad as they claim sections of the Leave crowd have been although they were possibly less shouty about it. Their actions though are, arguably, far more worrying and insidious than anything Leave got up to.
And one day both sides might let it go ......Sections of the Remain side have been every bit as bad as they claim sections of the Leave crowd have been although they were possibly less shouty about it. Their actions though are, arguably, far more worrying and insidious than anything Leave got up to.

If you actually care about this country and Brexit then you should donate to this. Though I bet 99% wont even bother.

Well said. The fact that I'm not spending my hard earned money on this stupid idea means I don't care about this country. Thank goodness you're here to tell us what we think. Thank you, oh great arbiter of thought and intention. Without you we'd be sailing right up the six bonger and no mistake. Now, next question - should I wipe with my right or my left hand? And if I wipe with my left, does that mean I don't like chicken?https://www.gofundme.com/f/big-ben-bongs-for-brexi...

I'm an ardent leaver and see nothing of value in this at all.
It's a divisive waste of money. Triumphalist nonsense. Remember there were 48% of those that voted, voted to Remain. This is stupidity stirred up by the uneducated and unwashed. Have some humility.

Anyone getting excited about gloating about brexit come across as the things they moan about being labelled.
Any doubts that Johnson is chasing the votes of idiots can surely be put to bed.

That would possibly hold more weight if it had not been posted by someone that revelled in the pleasure and delight that even the smallest setback Brexit negotiations gave them.Anyone getting excited about gloating about brexit come across as the things they moan about being labelled.

That's another thing - the leavers who say remainers are somehow pleased brexit is a clusterfk. Pointing out all the crap things that have happened since is a part of discussing brexit - it only upsets those who can't discuss things like a grown up.Hypocrite
It's actually a reflection on your own mindset and values that you like to see things like the EU or Euro fail and perhaps indicative of your own sense of self-worth - hence why you assume others might think the same destructive "kick the system" way that it is obvious you do. It should surely not be a surprise that this is not typically how remainers see things - to paraphrase you still don't understand why we didn't see the need for a protest vote.
Not all leavers have your massive chip of course.

BooooHooooo, I lost (BIG time) so I don't want anybody to celebrate.
JHC chaps, listen to yourselves.
I wonder if those who supported remain, would have done some celebrating if they had won the referendum?JHC chaps, listen to yourselves.
They certainly didn't mind holding several protest march`s after vote leave won, not to mention standing / shouting outside the house of Commons for (years)
It seems they feel that only they are allowed to hold public demonstrations/celebrations in support of their position on Brexit.
Given their lack of respect for democracy it is hardly surprising.

It’s done.
We have much more important things to worry about.

Yes they should bong and yes we should celebrate.
Of course not everyone wanted to leave, and certainly not when or how we have chose to. However the idea that half the country will be sitting in a dark room mourning our departure is rubbish.
It is now decided. Nobody could say it wasn't discussed enough. Nobody can say we didn't have the opportunity to change our minds, or hear opposing points of view. It was decided democratically and voted for in a fairly convincing fashion.
We haven't turned communist or voted to deport minorities or annex Poland. We have made a major decision and it's happening. There is nothing to be gained by being embarrassed about it

Knock yourselves out. Aside from us all having to foot the bill there's absolutely nothing to be gained from anyone giving a fk what you do.Whoop it up, wave your flags, own the remainers, whatever distracts you from whatever it is that's eating you. Go for it.
