They can borrow some of mine. Somehow I didn't run into any trees at all on this afternoon's 12 miles of mud on the mtb. God knows how, taking off on 4" deep mud and landing into 6-8", on a downhill cross gradient is usually asking for trouble. All lobes and synapses intact,

Flatty how about you hit the report button if you feel so strongly about it ?

Try and get there before somebody does similar and points out who you are per the recent “Rules” post perhaps.

I know you’re goading go get a win and hit the report despite the “I ain’t no grass” schtick.

You aren’t very bright so don’t bother.

Watching two grown up people argue like 6 year olds is a trifle tedious.

It could explain why you have left a couple of booby traps for a wandering mod to “accidentally” trip over.

So, who were you?

Luke, the master of the universe, but I married and she took it all leaving me here on this rock with a load of humans.

Nope, just tried to shag her. Sadly my reproductive bits do not fit into humans as when aroused they swell to 12x there normal size with a left hand thread.

It's a long thread so not read it all, but let's face it, it's really a big deal is it.
The prevailing of democracy over the non democratic? I would say its quite a big deal, So would people in those counties that don't have democracy, and have to fight and even die for the privelege!.
There's nothing undemocratic about the EU. If it were, using your own bleeding argument, wouldn't it be a bit strange that as soon as they'd overthrown their Communist regimes the first thing Hungary, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, etc, etc did was to join the EU? Those people really do know what oppression is and the value of democracy.

Hmmm?

Some might suggest that the very fact you even considered getting some air in such conditions means that it is unlikely that any of your lobes or synapses are intact. Perhaps you have long-term damage from previous unintentional interfaces with scenery? wink

AS-90 firing 'assisted' ammunition from a larger calibre barrel can, I'm led to believe, be modified to fire out to 40 km, but yes, in standard trim firing conventional ammunition it would fall about 9 km short and blow a brief, but nasty hole in the Channel. There are a few V1 Flying bombs still knocking around in military museums, and the Science Museum has a V2, though...

I no longer have an opinion on these bongs, mind you. I'm just coming here for the squabbles now. It's like the whole exit debate all over again. should we have a UFC-style fight between the principle antagonists to decide whether the bongs should go ahead?

Surely the right way to celebrate is to do something which was previously impossible while we were a member state?

If you had spent any time in any of the former Soviet states you would realise what a prick anybody who trots out the pathetic EUSSR trope sounds like.
