Your delusional belief that your XJS shed is rust free is on a par with Trump's assertions about coronavirus not being a threat, and the fact that you've suddenly turned up in this thread a month late now that the coronavirus issue is making Trump look bad is even more damning.

The only thing worse than a rubbish paid GOP shill on a PH thread is a rubbish unpaid GOP shill with a st car on a PH thread.
It has nothing to do with Trump, nor probably should it.
Do, kindly, stroll on. Clearly the only reason you're here is because of events in the US in the past 48 hours.

I anticipate you can expect rough handling here for whatever Trump conduct as regards this virus you're going to try to apologise going forward, and it will be well deserved.

I wonder if there is any panic within the royal household or is it just on piston heads? This thread has certainly brought out the the people from the ends of the spectrum. Anyone been panic buying toyo proxes?

I am simply discussing what is going on over here as it relates to Corona. It is not Trump centric. It appears you wish to make it so. There are those who are focusing on politics, I am trying to focus on what we are doing.
You say I can “anticipate rough handling”. Is that Your encouragement of such treatment? Are you speaking for other posters? Are you always this all around pleasant?

Er... no.

It's about 500k per year, and the CFR is 0.1% so presumably about 500m are infected.

Covid19 would only have to spread to 5% of that population to achieve the same number of deaths.
Sorry! You are correct. That link estimated 56 million does worldwide of all causes; it chose flu as one culprit. Sorry.
Here is a better link. 664k. Still, perspective-wise, You anticipate reaching that many from this? I see your figures but do you have confidence in them?

I would certainly endorse a full and robust response to an obvious shill for a US poitical party, who suddenly appears on this thread when his President of choice appears vulnerable on the issue.

He may well be vulnerable, or not; not here to discuss him. Again, I am speaking of what is being done, by many people and organizations, over here regarding this thread’s topic...the new Corona Virus.
So, to be clear, you endorse “rough handling” for me on here. Got it. Not really concerned about it in the least, but understood. Much appreciated.

You don’t seem to be able to deny the “obvious shill” part though. As for your timing for turning up on the thread, chinny reckon writ large.

Sorry Aya if you misunderstood. That was a joke; (as I’m certain you gathered) sort of following eharding’s lead. I was discussing what is going on this side of the pond related to the worldwide Corona situation. However It is smelling a bit like a number of people want to make it a political thing about Trump instead of discussing what is being done where. I could be mistaken; if I am correct, there is certainly enough of that unhealthy obsession on the Trump bashing thread. Just a thought. Sorry again.
Haha no worries I added a wink to my post to make that clear afterwards.

Eharding seems to be having some kind of meltdown, there are a few of them on this thread. Probably high on hand sanitiser fumes.

I do deny it. Didn’t feel a need to, but if it eases you, I am happy to. You choose to believe my “timing” is suspect. Whatever; if that floats your boat, by all means.

beer no worries indeed, and thank you.

Yes, the recent proliferation of hand sanitizers as of late will probably prompt another Greta outburst as those fumes are surely melding with the ozone layer by now . smile

Spoke to some friends this evening about Corona and all of them if they caught it wouldn't self isolate due to job security and also the perception and social stigma of being a 'carrier' which is pretty worrying.

I've had a cough for the past few days and people are definitely giving me dirty looks when out in public.

I wouldn't worry about about self-isolation, if any of your friends caught this, they would need immediate hospitalisation, 100% of people do.

V6pushfit said it so it must be true, (despite a wealth of evidence to the contrary)

You got the original statistic out by a factor of about a million to one hehe, then you go on to argue about the veracity of the stats in the rebuttal.

Jeez, I hope you don’t need to quote important stats as part of your day job mate. smile

Not my kids school. But not far away. If things carry on as they are it will be another 2 weeks before we start seeing mass infections in schools?
