So, to keep the thread on track, the next substantial step in the US election 2020 process is South Carolina and Super Tuesday. That will go a long way to deciding the Democratic nominee.
The long range concern will be whether or not the Democratic Convention is a brokered one or not. If a Candidate secures at least 50% of the delegates, it will be a straight formality and that person will be the nominee.

Although these days I learned to rule few things out, I don’t see that one happening myself. Jimbeaux said:

I think Bloomberg is part of a plot to get Clinton on the ticket
You do? That would be some wild bit of business there. Just a theory of course
Just spotted this on twitter and it seems I am not the only person that thinks this

You may well be correct but that ex advisor is Dick Morris and he is right up there with a Morris Marina for reliability. https://www.redstate.com/nick-arama/2020/02/23/ex-...

How will the running mate for the Democratic nominee be selected?
Can the nominee simply pick anyone they like?
Yes, that is how it works. To be a bit more specific, a team working for a candidate usually does an extensive background search to identify any item associated with the potential running mate that might be used against them in the general election. Additionally, a person is sought that can either balance out something the main candidate is lacking to attract an additional voting bloc or fits in well with the candidate to further attract his/her voting base. In the end though, the candidate chooses their running mate. Can the nominee simply pick anyone they like?

Welcome to the wild conspiracy laden world of NoNeed, Jim.
Who needs msm when you've got Breitbart, Qanon, Daily caller and Reddit.
With all respect to NoNeed, I don’t think this will happen. I will be prepared to dine upon crow however if NoNeed nails it.
