Are you genuinely impressed by Biden as a potential President or is it just anyone but Trump?

Genuine question.
Thought I'd answered that many times. I think Biden was the wrong person, I prefered other candidates such as Warren and thought they would do better as trump cannot stand up to strrong women, but you can see why they picked Biden. The US needs a safe pair of hands after trumps expensive failure .
Lets remember that trump didn't want to be against Biden and had started trying to manufacture dirt months before Biden even announced he was running.

Amazing isn't it. You all jump on the tear gas band wagon and when you are informed that it wasn't tear gas you all start to malfunction
Apparently it was OC or pepper spray gas which has the same effects as tear gas plus causes painful swelling.
There's a big difference between tear gas and pepper spray.
Does it matter when you're on the receiving end?
Depends on the delivery method. Tear gas are usually lobbed grenades, similar to the OC flares or grenades.
Pepper spray can be deployed as an aerosol (such as UK police) or in paint balls rounds like the US police etc are using. Along with the 'less leathel' loads such as the rubber bullets, they are designed to hurt and disperse

Trump doesn't realise CHAOS stood for "Colonel has an outstanding solution", which he usually did, unlike Cadet bonespurs.
According to wiki he was regarded as intellectual, courageous, and urbane... everything Trump isnt

Whilst no ones watching... The Senate Intelligence Committee has quietly approved a measure that would require presidential campaigns to report offers of foreign election influence to federal authorities.

FACT CHECK: Trump denies tear gas use despite evidence

President Donald Trump and some of his supporters are claiming authorities did not use tear gas against people in a crackdown outside the White House this week. There’s evidence they did.

Law enforcement officials shy away from describing crowd-dispersing chemical tools as tear gas; it evokes police gassing citizens or the horrors of war. But giving those tools a more antiseptic name does not change the reality on the ground.

Federal institutions such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense have listed tear gas as the common term for riot-control agents. Whether the common or formal term is used, the effects on people are the same.

No need to get tetchy about it Biker, if there is something I feel worth commenting on regarding Biden and his parties failed policies, election strategy then I will post it. If you and countdown keep throwing a wobbler everytime i hit the submit button i might get banned from here too so be careful what you wish for smile

The primary model says Biden blew it when the DMC voting base split but we won't know until November, there is no use getting het up about it. I think the riots have been unhelpful for Biden as if he now picks Warren as a running mate, it might do more harm to his chances than good. He has parked himself into an identity politics corner on his VP pick.

Anyway, i watched the senate testimony from yesterday and no doubt we are due for round two of McCabe vs. Rosenstein doing a public hit job on each other regarding the Russia hoax. Turley liveblogged it but there is a new summary writeup he did here:

Remember trump was impeached over this. Trying to manufacture dirt

An audit of thousands of old case files by Ukrainian prosecutors found no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of Hunter Biden, the former prosecutor general, who had launched the audit.

The audit was intended to probe whether cases Ryaboshapka had inherited from his predecessors had been handled properly, given the reputation of the prosecution service as being riddled with corruption and influence-peddling.

The audit was part of a broader reform of the prosecution service but became politically charged given some of the cases related to Burisma’s founder.

“Regarding the call to Zelenskiy and this story with Burisma. I can say that there was no pressure on me,” Ryaboshapka said. “The audit was completed.”

“I specifically asked prosecutors to check especially carefully those facts about Biden’s alleged involvement. They answered that there was nothing of the kind,” he added.

There's enough evidence now that tear gas (CS) was also used to clear the WH protestors along with OC as empty canisters have been picked up near St Johns church
