I can see Biden doing that - like a decent comedian dealing with a heckler, or Bloomberg, who will just punch him, metaphorically on the nose and on the actually on the wallet.
sBiden is damaged goods. The scandal over his son's business dealings will plague him if he ever has to go head to head with Trump. Also his penchant for smelling little girls hair and not knowing which city he's speaking in, doesn't augur well for him.
...wouldn't put it past them to try, though.

I think they'll probably run a two pronged campaign - the first continuing the attacks on his character and the second showing how his promises haven't been delivered. Footage showing the factories he promised to save but have all closed down, the tax cuts he's not delivered to the lower income groups, etc.
that's one prong and the one they've been running all along - "trump is a poo-poo" propaganda. It's boring and the voter class I mentioned are all sick of being patronized with it.If the democrats want to win it the campaign needs to be about THEM

The one which called witnesses and had evidence was the kangaroo court, not the one which refused to look at them - is that what you're saying?
Did you actually watch any of the house proceedings and I don't means the ones held in the bunker? Those Democrats led by compulsive liar Schiff, drove a coach and horses through due process. Would not allow the republican committee members to call witnesses and chanced their arm on impeachment articles that failed to break US laws. I suggest you stop getting your information from the Guardian and CNN and go to the source and view the sham committee meetings - a real eye opener for biased, partisan liars.Trump and by a bigger margin than 2016, maybe even a landslide. I was right about the Brexit vote, I was right about Trump 2016, I was right about the UK election 2017 & I was right about the UK election 2019 so I'm fairly confident in my prediction, although I could always be wrong.
Sadly there is a large number of people who just won't be able to believe that Trump will win nor understand why when he does.

You may be right with your predictions but I think it’s reassuring, rather than sad, that a lot of folks struggle to comprehend how the most prolific liar in recorded history could ever be elected to any public office. Edited by paulguitar on Saturday 8th February 17:13

If you are so uninformed of US politics, I can't be arsed to debate it with you - try educating yourself before asking such stupid questions.
I’m pretty sure I’m far more educated than you with regards to US politics. Anyway, too OT here, so pop over to the trump thread and we’ll discuss there.
I’ve got a feeling you won’t though - although I understand if you don’t want to, it can be pretty soul destroying to make baseless statements and not be able to back them up.
However, if you’d like to inform us of Schiff’s lies here then knock yourself out.
Thanks!
Unfortunately, it’s looking like four more years of the Orange fkwit. The Democrats are a total shambles, and appear incapable of putting up a credible challenger.
Democracies get the leaders they deserve. Germany gets dull, competent, pragmatic Merkel. We get a dishonest, untrustworthy upper class chancer and America gets a corrupt narcissistic moron.

I take issue with Borsi being "upper class" - he certainly appears on the surface as one, but he was not born into peerage, gentry or a hereditary landowner. His dad had quite a modest career and were not well off by any means (at least as Boris was growing up) - he did go to Eton but that was on a scholarship.Democracies get the leaders they deserve. Isn't "class" a relative relic in the UK these days given social mobility?

I've hardly registered anyone who doesn't reckon he'll win no matter which way they lean. He's managed to warp reality and it looks like it'll continue. Many who voted for Buttigieg in the Iowa caucus apparently didn't know he was gay. When some people in one of the venues were told they asked if they could have their card back as they didn't want 'someone like that' in the White House. Trump is the kind of person who won't shy away from talking about that and there are still many in the States that won't vote for a gay person and see him as an abomination in the eyes of God. A lot of people will mobilise to picket and try and discredit him. I'm not sure the USA is ready for that. In fact I think there may even be some in the DNC who aren't ready to endorse him.

I think you might be right. It’s amazing, isn’t it, that a lot of people who would consider themselves ‘religious’ would rather have a multiple-cheating, pornstar payoff-paying, lying thief than a former honourably served his country military man who is married, but happens to be married to a man.As I said in a previous post though, it also seems likely that a lot of folks who would disregard Pete B on that basis, would likely be trump supporters anyway, so those votes are not ‘lost’ votes.
Candidates attacking each other is business as usual during the primary.
Look at how brutally all the Republican front runners attacked each other during 2016, they all fell in behind Trump in the end in spite of the shocking stuff they said about him and him about them.
The important question is will the Dems line up behind their candidate after all this?
