That’s what I thought. So why does Trump think that leaking “”made up” information is worse?
I'm ignoring JB, not worth going down his/hers rabbit holes,

but this is the Potus and comes just two days after A man in New York has been charged with making death threats against Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), citing their role in the impeachment effort against President Trump.

https://thehill.com/homenews/news/484088-new-york-...

We know what impact his words have - this was a story from last year 36 cases invoking 'Trump' in connection with violence, threats, alleged assaults.
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/blame-abc-news-fin...

and trump has stepped up rhetoric this year as he was indicted, and the repercussions from him since
https://www.salon.com/2019/10/01/cornered-trump-tu...
Ah yes but apart from all that evidence, there's absolutely NO evidence to back up your scurrilous accusations. I strongly believe that Trump should be considered "Innocent until proven Obama Guilty" biggrin

here is a difference between supporting a view, and shouting down anyone who does not conform to the majority view, suggesting that by failing to do so they are advocating, amongst other things, lying, bullying, hypocrisy and even sexual abuse.

It is an echo chamber because that is what this thread is. Unless you are prepared to criticise everything Trump does, you are branded as being as bad as Trump himself. If you cannot see that it what happens, you are blind to it, either through conscious or unconscious bias.

It's ironic, simply because this group bullying is exactly the kind of behaviour the group complains Trump is guilty of.
Well laid out. This thread is ripe for a government grant studying groupthink.

The Trump White House and its allies, over the past 18 months, assembled detailed lists of disloyal government officials to oust — and trusted pro-Trump people to replace them — according to more than a dozen sources familiar who spoke to Axios

While Trump's distrust has only intensified since his impeachment and acquittal, he has long been on the hunt for "bad people" inside the White House and U.S. government, and fresh "pro-Trump" options. Outside advisers have been happy to oblige

History shows there's no better way to get yourself in with trump other than to tell stories about others being disloyal.

Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is working to identify members of the “deep state” who are “disloyal” to Trump so he can replace them

Wait Trump is is trusting a black Supreme Court Justice (or evening his white wife) for personnel advice? I thought he was racist; how does that fit?
For that matter, his openly gay cabinet member goes against his supposed grain as well.

I love how Trump is accused of purging his people and replacing them with loyalists. I would hope to think he does. Uhhh, that’s what all Presidents or leaders do. There are a limited number of appointed positions available to a POTUS, choosing loyalists are what they all do, it’s called building the team. Those positions outside of the president’s control are by design to be so as a check and balance.

Trump seems to be fairly busy removing people he put in position, denying he had anything to do with them, then replacing them with more of his cronies.

To illustrate Janesmith’s point regarding the echo chamber; I posted a CNN link here that detailed how the Intel Officer that claimed Russia was wanting Trump to win lacked evidence to claim so. That was not mentioned once, although when her initial claim was made, it was quickly squirted out of Byker’s propaganda grinder.

That's a stupid comparison. It's like pointing out that you've never posted any links that Byker has.

I'm sure Byker has his own opinion of Trump, just as I'm sure you do. So Byker will no doubt post up links which back up his assertion and you will do the same. The fact that the vast majority of news items show Trump to be somewhat of a dickwad isn't Byker or anybody else's fault.

So you accept that Trump is bad.

And when you do that, when you support him actively or passively ie you are willing to overlook his immorality and indecency in order to be able to embrace his facets your see as good, you automatically have set your moral compass, and have chosen to accept ignorance, stupidity, racism, self-aggredisment, aggression, the degredation of women, and at that point, i'm sorry to say, you loose the right to complain about being "treated badly" because that is exactly what you are yourself supporting..........

Unfortunately he's like a fking virus. He arrives on a thread and hijacks it. He's done it to both of the US election threads. When he gets called out he flounces for an hour then returns. Ruins it for everyone else as you have to wade through all his crap to get to a decent post. He did the same in 2016.

Oh I agree, everyone seeks out what supports their point of view.
However, not when he touted the very report that was later refuted by the same agency that reported it. That can’t be overlooked. Apparently though, it can. :roll eyes:

You are welcome to the last word.

You are definitely the type of person who craves it.
