Recently worked an IT contract for Yorkshire Tea. Bloody brilliant place to work and free lunches, free parking and as much tea and coffee as you could ever want! Fantastic.
Surprised they serve coffee tbh.
Yorkshire Tea is produced by Taylor's of Harrogate, who also produce some very fine coffees. I can recommend their Ethiopian ground coffee.
Correct. It's Betty's and Taylor's Group to be exact. The Java Lava coffee is excellent. And coffee bags are genius... if a little pricey!

Not sure I could trust the advice of a man who buys his coffee pre-ground.
Unless of course it's on the day.

It is such a tealeaf that the left are the minoritea. Still, I can't get over the brew ha-ha this Yorkshire Tea thing has caused. Relations between the right and left will be even more strained now, and it will be milked as much as possible.

Seems to have succeeded most in triggering angry Brexiters who seem a little lost without an enemy now that they've "won" laugh

I'm working on a project with the B&T IT team at the moment - great people and every site visit sees me emptying my wallet at the staff shop. Last visit I came home with three boxes of tea (Yorkshire Gold is something silly like £1.25 or £1.50 a box!), bread and teacakes biggrin We also demolished some of the fondant fancies in the new staff canteen.

I must admit I do admire the Yorkshire Tea response to this. Politics is not a thing to become embroiled in, as a commercial outfit, because of the emotion, often irrational, behind it. I like how they've taken no sides and tried to extricate themselves from the situation with some great humour and wit.

Yorkshire Tea have gone up in my estimation with their response here. Clearly they haven't got the woke memo and are still responding using good old fashioned common sense.

I'd like to see a photo of a Tory in an NHS hospital or at the benefits office so that the fringe left then insist everyone boycotts those too.

I can imagine that being at the helm of a business ttter account that is thus targeted by nutters, it could be quite intimidating and challenging. one of those situations where it's tricky to keep your fight and flight monkeys in their boxes.

Full marks to the person(s) in control of Yorkshire Tea's account. Handled beautifully and not without a little humour either.
