How about not answering a question with a question but rather with an answer.
Read all about it.......The mechanism:

So a fund (GCF) that's like a foreign aid fund. That's it?
Like I said earlier, sending aid to poorer countries doesn't constitute A move towards socialism nor does funding various initiatives worldwide to help in the fight against AGW.
And a couple of opinion pieces on why it's not a great idea. Really?
None of this is evidence of the UN undermining capitalism. If that's the best you can come up with...

Always amuses when people have strong opinions but are completely unable to articulate them other than by cutting and pasting links to other peoples opinions
This is an internet forum - not suitable for a treatise on the socialist paradigm inherent in the composition of the United Nations. Hence the links to further reading rather than a 10,000 word exposition with bibliography which will merely elicit a TL:DR response.I'll leave you with this one link instead. https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/content/docu...

Could only read a bit of that as it was so depressing. I would ask how people can be so stupid but then there is plenty of evidence of it on these climate change related threads. Jinx said:

It would be better if you could link to a document that shows the extent to which those lofty, non binding goals from 1992 have been met or if any of them have been implemented to any great extent. Given that annual CO2 emissions have increased massively, the population has grown by another half a billion or so, big chunks of the Amazon rainforest have disappeared, etc plus the fact that most of the world’s population are ruled over by right wing or totalitarian regimes the answer is likely to be no. But please do carry on scaremongering based on no facts.I'll leave you with this one link instead. https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/content/docu...

A few chaps(?) easily triggered by an intelligent articulate young lady, on this thread it seems.
What are they frightened of, one wonders.
Said with not a hint of irony for the 178 page Greta thread. What are they frightened of, one wonders.
I agree she's articulate though. Especially when espousing her respect for white supremacists.

Still playing that record I see.I agree she's articulate though. Especially when espousing her respect for white supremacists.
What do you think of her suggestion that she wants people to think and not panic?
You know, the same as people will be doing over Coronavirus.

It's a perfect example of socialism, replacing factors of production with direct allocation of resources.
Damn the Tory party and other Western right wing governments for joining up to a scheme to usher in a new socialist world order Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
