It would have been smarter if she'd said she wanted people to think about the overwhelming amount of advice being given by scientists and experts and act accordingly.
And when they do and reject it for lack of evidence? "Cos denier!" rolleyes

You know, the same as people will be doing over Coronavirus.
Not even comparable.
Coronavirus exists, its passed person to person, its real and can be seen under a microscope.

AGW is all about what "We think", something Naomi told you to engage in doing but you dont.

For folks who have it as bad as you do, no amount of evidence to the contrary will ever alter your beliefs.
It matters not the qualifications of those opposing the narrative or their number, because believers brains seem to work in a backward manner.
Youre always pointing to your Holy Consensus, yet when a counter consensus forms you deride it and the qualifications of those who are equally eminent in their fields as some of those on your side.
You appeal to authority and reject any similar appeals on the anti side.
The word is Hypocrisy but you cant deny others the methods you use yourself, methods I dont agree with because theyre unscientific.
Theres an almost total lack of candor coming from the pro side, virtual opacity in all aspects of how business is being done. (mann etc).

Now, how hard are you working to weave Coronavirus into AGW?

Something very sad about right wing vested interest groups, having seen the global appeal of Greta's message, trying to manufacture their own 'facts' to try and present a made up alternative to scientific consensus

Fortunately though, no-one but right wing conspiracy theorists seem to give a toss what she or her backers think.

A few chaps(?) easily triggered by an intelligent articulate young lady, on this thread it seems.
What are they frightened of, one wonders.
Said with not a hint of irony for the 178 page Greta thread. rofl
Contributes knocking on for 25% of all the posts in this topic but not triggered, nope, not at all.
Only those who disagree are triggered eh Gadget.
Let’s face it, this will never hit 178 pages like the Greta thread, I’m sure it’s got nothing to do with using faux outrage to silence any chance of debate, we can’t have criticism of a young girl can we........oh wait....this one disagrees with you so it’s ok.
Love your twisted use of “178 pages”, it would be fascinating to see the balance of negative posts about Greta versus the “how dare you” posts, all both styles of posts show me is proof what a vile, cowardly cynical move it is to place the poor girl at the forefront. The amount you’ve posted on this one and your comment as quoted simply nail that thought home for me.

Grown men arguing over who’s young girl is right?? yikes
Bravo gentlemen, not creepy all round.

Very poor but expected response...,”rant”...standard reply when not able to respond to points made.
Do keep it up.

There’s sooooo much wrong with it I don’t know where to start but here’s a few things that jump out at me...

1. John Locke brought up the word “triggered” but you seem to think it was me...I never mentioned it.

2. It would indeed be fascinating to see the number of pro vs anti posts on the Greta thread but why mention it unless you think they’ll actually be more pro than anti? So, get busy and give us the figures rather than just throwing out insinuations.

3. 25% of the posts on here are from me? Wow, I’m disappointed, I thought it would be more. I love the irony of the anti Greta posters hoisting Naomi Seibt onto their shoulders as the deniers antidote to Greta only to find out she’s a supporter of a raging white supremacist.

4. Grown men arguing over young girls is creepy? Lets get the ages right. Greta was a 15 year school girl when the “grown men” started laying into her...Naomi is 19, that’s an adult female.

For the first sentence you missed out those horrible disgusting words “in my opinion”....

1: I never ever mentioned you “bringing up” triggered, why make stuff up, really why, just writing things that never happened is tragic.I made a lighthearted insinuation that you could be possibly triggered as much as others, no idea what you are on about with John Locke.

2: I mentioned the balance of posts as you use the number of pages in the negative, by that I mean you use the number of pages to suggest they only contain negative posts and therefore are an indicator of how “worked up” some posters are, surely not hard to see. Thanks for the suggestion of finding out the figures but you truly are deluded if you think I will be doing your bidding. Try to learn the difference between a suggestion and an insinuation, the fact you see it as an insinuation suggest to me that you’re a little offended, maybe even triggered eh? ( that’s a joke by the way )

3: it’s a little under 25% but again, you conveniently miss the point, comparing page numbers as a means to a negative point whilst also being responsible for so many pages and therefore leaving yourself open to the accusations you lay at others. However if you don’t get it fine, it’s really not worth trying again as you are obviously utterly unable to cope with anything other than your own thoughts.

4: Fair enough, one is 19, if you think that’s a justification then crack on. I still feel it’s uncomfortable from all sides. It started with Greta, now this young adult ( ok? ) what next, where does the bar move to for trying to bomb proof your campaigns?

Hope this helps chap. It’s ever clearer, and indeed indicated by the 2 pm’s I received warning me, that engaging with you in anyway is a serious waste of time.
You really are incapable of discussion, it’s clear you’re not interested in any form of debate. All that time spent knowing your subject but wasted as you seem to only be able to talk at people, or revert to, what appear to me, to be insults and smilies.
Finger in your ears.....my science and media is right......la.la.la.
I’ll take the advice from the messages I’ve been sent and steer clear, you and the four walls win the Internet again.........

2pm’s...yikes...I’m even more important than I thought! hehe

Of course, that’s if it really happened...which I kinda doubt old chap.

Still, it’s nice to see the art of drive-by wumming is still alive and well.

Now, where’s my cup for “winning the internet”?

Gammon Illuminati......wonder what the secret symbol would be for that sinister organisation.
Funny thing is I thought it was a little odd, must be a clique thing or something, maybe I was being recruited or even groomed!!
Just weird that I get 2 messages advising that it’s a waste of time, one said I’ll get lured into a ban, like I care, or indeed like I’m going to get sucked in to the childish manure that goes on.
I’m always one to give things a go, try to engage in a few ways but on this occasion it seems the advice, however it was meant, was bang on. Even Gadgets response to my last post ignored the content but preferred to try and deflect with groundless insinuation, trying to bait rather than answer.
Hey ho...

Hey ho...
Trying to bait? I'm trying to ignore you fella but you seem fixated on me. I mean ffs, doing the calculations for what percentage of posts are from me. hehe

Is it because I've highlighted the goose stepping beliefs of the Anti Greta? After all, that is the subject of this thread rather than your insistence on trying to make it about me.

How about you ask me a question about the subject of the thread...I can't be arsed with the rest of your waffle.
