The chancellor has offered £330Bn in loans but that was not really what I had in mind - that is more a last resort.
I'd rather find a way to support our local vulnerable pubs instead of them having to get a loan to survive and face interest etc. on their running costs for who knows how long.

It might be possible for everyone to get through the Covid 19 caused situation we face now, if it is possible for everyone to give everyone else the bit of slack they need to get by, and put as much as possible on hold.
Probably wont happen because there will probably be some organizations, or people who will still expect to be paid in full and on the nail, even when they themselves are being given a bit of slack by the people `they' owe cash to. they just wont extend that bit of relief to the people who owe them.

MY local is staying open as long as possible but is going contactless payments only where possible and advising people not to sit too close to each other(not that will be difficult, sometimes there is only5 or 6 of us in during the week)
I can understand vibrant city centre pubs being a high risk but surely small remote pubs that mainly has its locals as the only customers most of the time should be pretty much ok.
