It `seems' as if they will eat everything and anything which has, or did have a pulse.
I suspect you'll find the pulse is optional.Pan Pan Pan said:

I suspect you'll find the pulse is optional. The fact that historically any outbreakings are named geographically from the source (Ebola, MER's etc..) as a forewarning to future generations yet the WHO have gone out of their way to make sure that this one has no links to the source stinks, the WHO is completely in the pocket of the CCCP and shouldn't be allowed to continue once this pandemic is over.
This could have been isolated to just China if the rest of the world stopped flights out of Wuhan/China but the guidance at the time was that there was nothing to worry about which looking back in retrospect is clearly wrong as was the banning of twitter accounts for spreading the truth.
Trump got it right the other day when he stopped calling it Corona/Covid and hopefully others will now do so to.

Ah! our quaint Chinese cousins!
I have never been there, so am only going from news items etc,
I do however bask in the warm glow which came from being banned from posting in the Guardians CiF section. because the Guardian like so many of the tree hugger persuasion are guilty of hypocrisy, or at the least double standards, and I sort of pointed this out to them, which they appeared not to like very much

Given that Western Countries have never been held to account to the evils that they wrought on the rest of the world in the past I'm not sure why anyone would think that China somehow owes anything to anyone...
Some people did bad stuff years ago so no point telling anyone off for doing bad stuff now. Is that what you are saying?

So this Coronavirus is the third sh*tstorm China has unleashed on the world this century, and the most deadly and impactful (the other two being SARS and bird flu). There are two sets of charges against them:
1. Economic/Human; cost, damage, death, health, disruption etc
2. Nature: barbaric treatment of animals, no effective action to manage transference of illness from animals to humans despite two previous instances
Beyond that, and not directly related, is the fact that almost any animal extinction story, or ecological disaster seems to have China's fingerprints on it (ivory trade/poaching, tiger hunting, shark fins, rainforest destruction etc).
The Chinese really have a lot of answer for! Despite that, I have a feeling they will emerge from this latest crisis stronger than ever as the world is now almost totally dependant on Chinese goods, money and support.
Ideally, some international court should slap real restrictions on China and make sure they make real changes to stop this kind of thing being repeated and to roll-back their impact on animals and nature.
Thoughts?
Tell us: where do you stand on slavery reparations? 1. Economic/Human; cost, damage, death, health, disruption etc

I suspect you'll find the pulse is optional.Too much far flung international travel. Why such a repressive authoritarian state feels it can export its people to every possible point on the map is puzzling.
Same with the west and its endless supply of english teacher to china.
Some serious visa restrictions should now be considered. After all the next new virus could be 2022.
If they want to learn english they can do it online. They can sell us stuff by all means but we need to investigate alternative sources.
Obviouslty if the leadership in china changes to one not run by a lot of gangsters then maybe that could help.
Typical stage managed photo op with all the happy doctors marking a job well done.
They are very good at this sort of propaganda. I bet people were locked in there apartments to die in reality
and any news covered up.
If they love the west so much they can build a replica in 2 weeks after all.
