Judging from the gridlock on the M6 northbound at Preston and M61 I was caught up in twice today, I reckon everyone is in Blackpool or The Lakes.

But is that people who were out before now starting to wear masks, or people who weren't out at all before now going out, but wearing a mask? One is a shift in general behaviour, the other is the cautious becoming less so. So I'd suspect the latter.
We went out to a Cotswolds town on Sunday expecting it to be OK, how wrong were we! Rammed is an understatement, and that's without the coaches full of people. Managed to find a spot away from people to enjoy the sun, but won't be going somewhere like that in a rush. Had a pint on the way back on a well done village pub, again, better than the local we went to, with 15 kids on 1 table all hugging etc.
Anyway, can someone explain to me why, in a group of people, only 1 will wear a mask?! If they're following the rules, the group is all from 1 house hold. Chances are, if 1 person gets the bug they all will. If 1 person is savvy enough to wear a mask, why not all of them? Or does that 1 person have corona, but wants to go out with their family?

Japan has culturally for many reasons worn masks since the 1950s. We haven't. Thank god!
One, as we were discussing this at the weekend (wearing muzzles) a mate reminded me if masks had been a thing back in the day, I'd have never have met my wife. He was right. How the f
k would I know what she looked like apart from her figure and say her hair and eyes? Ok, I may have met her, but my plan (in honesty not my plan, a mate suggested it) to get her to speak to me would not have been possible - I shaved my beard off! The night in question I did so, it got her to ask 'Where's your beard gone?'
Bingo! Never stopped chatting all evening. Still together 46 yrs later.

Locally someone (no pic - pity!!) spotted a guy wearing a t-shirt as he was going into Sainsbury's which proclaimed:
I DON'T WEAR A MASK.
I DON'T MIND IF YOU DO.
on the back it read
I DON'T WEAR A TAG EITHER.
I'M NOT A PRISONER!
Sums it up nicely for me. Where can I get this t-shirt?
Life if full of risks - always has been. Assess them and realise life is for living, not worrying. Worry can make you ill.

Why not leave it to the shops to decide if they want shoppers to wear masks? The High Street is in enough trouble, forced mask wearing will finish it.
Those who want to wear mask can go to a mask only shop.
This should have been enforced back in March, not now.

Your point being? I have no issue with masks and if you want to wear one so be it.I do have a massive issue with making a temporary measure legislation with associated punishments without a clear achievable outcome and exit strategy.
