The borders are currently fully open for trade and goods.

And that was the case permanently I don't think we'd have seen Brexit.

I think what you're agreeing to is that if the EU had remained purely a trading bloc, Brexit would not have happened (I'm sure i4got can confirm).

Has that been your stance all along? If so, I suspect a lot of people will 100% agree with you but be a little perplexed at about 90% of your posts on these threads smile

It does seem quite bizarre doesn't it, which is why what DeepEnd thinks and states is clearly not what he means.

I agree if it had remained a trading bloc only brexit would not have happened.

I’m not sure what is controversial about this.

Funny how it just keeps coming back to immigration, isn’t it? 13 volumes of people trying to suggest otherwise but there you go.

If Mr DeepEnd can't understand how you can love Europe, lover Europeans but dislike the EU, then wanting to trade with Europe but not be forced to adopt their rules will definitely be a step too far!

4 years after the referendum and you're still trying to play the anti-immigration card.

How pathetic. Mind you, hardly surprising given your despicable comments about looking forward to people dying and wishing illnesses on people who don't share your political views.

That's exactly the point i was making. I think DeepEnd reads something, makes up something in his head, then comments on what he made up in his head. Makes it very confusing for the rest of us.

What's funny is that it's you who's the first to mention immigration when no one else has, albeit we are trying to establish what DeepEnd has on his mind.

You might need to look at the Ashcroft polls in terms of why people voted to leave the EU, the polls are the first point of reference when rejoiners want to make a point, so it seems entirely reasonable to suggest such a source.

Let me know how you get on or need a pointer.

No need to make anything up. It has been confirmed by many people - perhaps you forgot you did it?

Unlike your claims about immigration.

After 4 years many have got used to the tactics DeepEnd plays and recognises such tactics.

It's like a footballer taking a penalty and always placing the ball in exactly the same position time after time, the goalkeepers recognise the tactic, can foresee what's coming and ensure the penalty taker doesn't score.

I’ve been around this topic for a long time and can confirm reading H123 distasteful comments. Generally they aren’t too offensive but certainly not something I would choose to post on a public forum.

I am not a returned banned member. But nice try to change the subject. At least you've stopped trying to deny your despicable comments.

I just don't believe that, sorry.

Time to tell the truth.
