Spotted back in Durham over Easter, 30 miles away from where they were earlier staying. He had previously been in London days before.

To be honest I think govt are underestimating the seriousness of the situation.
Times have been extremely tough for people during lockdown and many people have lost loved ones in the most dire of circumstances.
They need to cut this guy loose. Now. Forever.
The backlash will be huge if they don't.
The future doesn't seem all that bright economically and that's when the heat will really be turned up.
Any hint of naughtiness from anyone associated with govt and they need to be gone.
The govt need to get their house in order. Yesterday.
I don’t get, if I was a cabinet minister I would be triple checking that he Cummings didn’t do anything else stupid before I tweeted my unquestioning support.

Cummings is his right hand man and it's hard to believe Boris didn't know exactly where he was and what he was doing at all times during a National Emergency.

Boris may have been ‘clever’ as well. Correct me if I’m wrong but he hasn’t made any comment on this issue unlike many of his cabinet ministers. He could come out and denounce what Cummings has done and make out that he is doing the right thing and is control of the situation as PM.

I'm not a Conservative voter, so let's get that one out of the way first.
While DC was up in Durham I was making a video call to the daughter of one of my patients who was dying. She didn't argue or demand to come in to the hospital to hold her mother's hand, to comfort her as she was dying. Instead she got a WhatsApp call from me, an unknown nurse who was too busy to be with her mother at the moment of her death.
I lied to her when I phoned her back at 5am to say that she was peaceful and just slipped away and someone was there with her. In 35 years of nursing I have never felt so upset and affected, I cried as the daughter was thanking me.
This is why he must go. If his colleagues can't see it then they should go too.
I'm sorry, but this goes beyond politics. It's about the decent people who gave up so much.

Number 10 have decided to respond angrily without actually denying it.
They most likely don't know what they can get away with denying at the moment, as the frantic statements issued earlier have already been proven to be lies. Who knows what else the journalists involved have yet to release?

Meh, I've driven 1000s of miles around the UK during lockdown and had to work within 2m of a large number of people.
It comes across that people are more annoyed that he's done the type of things that they want to do but haven't.
A journey in a car from one place to another isn't all that bad, especially compared to what some other people have had to do and what others have chosen to do.
Sure, slap his wrists and make him look like a dick but demanding his resignation and people being "incandescent with rage"?
I didn't see quite this much outrage for all of those knobheads clapping on bridges in London. Did we sack all of them/make them all resign?
What's the difference?

He is one of the people coming up with the lockdown guidelines, set a bloody example.

the government will have been shown to be either dishonest or incompetent, both of which are a major concern, although possibly not a surprise!
The government defended the comments, ''if that means some pensioners die, too bad”. If it is proved right DC lied, No. 10 backed him up, where does the very sorry affair end?Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
