You can bet boris didn’t have the balls to tell dom himself. Bet he got someone else to do it.
They're thick as thieves.

A bit of stammering, a cheque, and a promise. (gotta keep it quiet from Carrie whilst she's still on seen nudge nudge wink wink)

Yup, remainder Javid rumoured to be back in. BRINO or transition extension no doubt.
Near forgone conclusion id say.
Then they're done - there is zero recovery from that.
Possibly not, given that the number of people who believe that Brexit was the right decision has hovered at around 40% in pretty much every poll for well over two years now.
What does that have to do with it?
Merely commenting how a transition extension or a "BRINO" would be received by the public. And even fewer want the No Deal that Cummings has been pivotal in trying to force Johnson into.
I can't imagine for a moment that what the public think or how it is recieved will recieve even a passing consideration.

This Sebastian Payne senior official chap sounds a real delight, Its little wonder Cummings has decided to go if this is the sort of snide comments you get from no 19 officials
He's right, though. Completely stage managed by the odious little narcissist.
Payne is not the source FFS, Payne is a Whitehall correspondent, the source is unknown as is the case in all these incidents (unless you look as guilty as sin in the Commons the next day in which case it’s definitely Hancock)

So obvious that the rejection of mentalists and disruptive people in the US has shone the light on Boris and his zoo.
A sober leader in the usa wont tolerate this monkey cage.
So once again the USA saves the UK.
That crossed my mind too. Sanity returns to the US and suddenly the U.K. awakes blinking, as if from a crazy dream.

The chain of events that have lead to this have been brewing for far longer than the election result...

Correlation does not equal causation. Not by a long shot.

Hilarious.

Sonia Khan anyone? Karma is a bh huh Mr Cummings?
Reported yesterday that she got a settlement to drop her claim to avoid Government embarrassment as apparently Cummings was named as part of it.
Which effectively acknowledges guilt so he had to go. I wonder if the same fate lays ahead for Priti Patel - which it sounds like it should, regardless of any race or sexism cards she’ll undoubtedly raise!

Still looking pathetic if the only thing he actually reacts to around Cummings is that he upset his girlfriend.

Cummings should have been sacked months back when he broke the lockdown rules. Boris was much more certain of his position and covered his back then. I think this reflects Boris being nervous about revolt in the Tory party over his mismanagement of Covid and Brexit.

I'm not sure there's a polite way to put it.
