I think what's worse is it's not one moment of poor behaviour like a questionable shooting or strike, he has minutes to reassess what he's doing.

When you add it all up, they have so little to lose, you can see why some loot. This is, by no means all the protesters, any more than it is all white police officers that murder. People need some perspective.
Whats going on in the USA is utterly lamentable, but completely unsurprising to anyone who knows more about the place and it's history than the happily integrated films and TV shows portray of it.

The way forward would have been mass peaceful protest outside the courthouses where many white people would have happily joined them.
Not stacking TV’s on a trolley and burning the livelihood of their own neighbours.

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is a part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, and right to petition.
If you look at where the CNN reporters are though they’re surrounded by police.
Could we just maybe hazard a guess they’d actually not moved back like they may well have been instructed and prevented the police line from operating correctly.
There’s journalism and then there’s obstructing the police operation?

A population under lockdown for two months with no entertainment.

A population facing massive economic problems over the next few months/years and many of them already having to register unemployed.

A well recorded incident of a direct assault on a citizen by a group of police which led to his death. These officers only then getting suspended and not arrested to face criminal charges which a lot of the population believe they should have been.

A population where a number of them do not believe that virus is that bad and that its all a commie/democratic plot.
+
A population where a number of them do not believe anything the main stream media say and get their news from other "informed and unbiased" sources.

A population where substantial amount are armed and some even have assault rifles.

If that isn't a recipe for civil war, I am not quite sure what is. Somebody needs to get a grip, right now. And I mean right now or this could get very bad, very quickly.

As Einstein once said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Peaceful protests have resulted in protesters dead.
