<snip> waffle<snip>T this couple only threatened to escalate the situation for no good reason.

How tall are you? cos everything seems to go over your head.hehe

Had these delightful chanting self entitled yobs not invaded the plainly segregated area of people who pay to live that way (including the mayor) your "clowns" would not have found it necessary to threaten to bust a cap.
Your heroes of Marx precipitated the whole event, do you not see that?

NYC votes to defund the NYPD by $1bn Meanwhile violent confrontation continues across the city

Strange world
Not really, when you look at the details. Reducing police involvement in schools, making other departments responsible for monitoring street vendors and the homeless (currently these are police functions), etc.

They're also suggesting the funding will be used elsewhere, mainly to try to tackle some of the social issues (education, housing, mental health, etc) which are often cited as factors in the crime rates.

Again this highlights the differences between US and UK.

When we have a copper in school it's to give a talk, and when they are exercising the horses outside of the urban stables they are all too happy to have young black children come up to them as part of community engagement.

Imagine than being a negative thing,

€300 million will be funding transferred to other depts where the role will continue but not under the NYPD fair enough

€680 million is straight cuts

There are those in the NYC Govt that are saying they will refuse to sign off on the budget unless there is further de-funding and the immediate cessation of recruitment to the NYPD .. some 1600 posts this year year

If the budget is not signed off then state taxes cannot be collected

The city is looking at making 22000 council employees across all areas including social care, mh, housing, education etc redundant due to a shortfall in income as a result of the pandemic.. NYC is facing a €9bn hole in its finances

This still has a lot of traction and is no means over

When do you re-fund the police? When all the 'racist' officers have retired or never because the army have taken over?

It wouldnt be so bad if the funding was moved to social care or education which everyone knows has a positive impact on crime.

Did the rabble invade and loot any other house on the development and set them on fire, as was the threat allegedly delivered to the armed fruitloops? Were the occupants of the other houses raped or murdered and their pets turned into gonks? Was there any disruption to any property or occupant(outside of noise and the broken gate) other than the Mayor, who the rabble sought to barrack?

No; there was no threat beyond the possibility of a pair of ignorant frightened middle class people who watch too much Fox shooting themselves or a 3rd party.
Coming on to this part of PH is often toxic, but perhaps it would be beneficial to highlight a few things that some of you might not be aware of.

This was a gated community that the BLM rioters, sorry, peaceful protesters broke into. Therefore, from what I understand, it’s classed as private property, ie: no trespassing or you’re liable to get shot.

It has been reported that there were videos on Twitter of the rioters, dammit, sorry, peaceful protesters, openly carrying firearms, threatening to kill the couple whom we are discussing here, threatening to burn down their home and threatening to kill their dog before the couple in question presented their own firearms.

I don’t have Twitter, so I haven’t seen the video, but this was discussed in length on a couple of Tim Pool / Timcast videos, (readily available on YouTube), where Tim Pool had stated that he had seen the video, therefore I believe the facts as reported by Tim Pool, (a left of centre former Occupy Wall Street protester, so hardly your hated Tucker Carlson on Fox).

I just thought you might benefit from a fuller understanding of reported events before posting further.

The various channels Tim has got are by far the best for the reporting of the events surrounding the whole BLM/riots/protests etc fiasco.

He'll need a long holiday once this is done with the amount of work he's currently putting in with his coverage.

Yep. And his coverage of CV-19 going back to early January was pretty good as well.

The guy seems to have a habit of calling things early and calling things mainly right.

What on earth was that all about?
Whatever games the protesters were playing, the black man seemingly wasn't wanting to play along. It appeared he opposed the protesters. One white lad called him a 'piece of st Uncle Tom' and the black man gave him a verbal dressing down. The lad could have said anything to the black man to express his disagreement. There was no need to bring his ethnicity into it.
There are so many parasitical weirdos and nasties that piggyback whatever cause is going and this spoils the message of that cause and the chance of meaningful dialogue.

Probably just as well he was wearing a mask and glasses, I bet he was bricking himself underneath. But in the eyes of the "progressives", non-white people are not allowed to think for themselves and only hold the correct opinions.

That reminded me of this classic

https://youtu.be/HLWgVpmo1e0

White liberals asked is it fair on the black community if there are voting ID laws.

Many seem to think its not fair as apparently black people haven't got internet connection.

Black people then interviewed and informered of the liberals answers.

Happily, not because he’s a great actor. Not because he’s black but because he’s a decent human being

Funny how the ones who call us racist only see colour.

Protestor shouts at cops calling them uneducated brags about his college education.

https://twitter.com/stillgray/status/1278226800317...

Oh remember those unarmed black children that were shot and killed by blm security ( actually sounds like executed as there was a further shot 30 seconds or so later)

Remember them?

Well anyway the car they were in was stolen, it belonged to two gay guys who dress up as animals and sell dog masks.

The black children then drove that stolen car to a ph armed communist autonomous zone where there were fired upon and killed.

14 and 16

They would be in the news daily if those home owners legally protecting themselves had shot two black children

I find it amazing that the cops put up with so much verbal abuse off someone who would most probably attempt to file a lawsuit if you so much as misgendered them.
