Perhaps most concerning for the president is that support is slipping among Republicans. The latest results show that just 80% of those in his party offer their approval. That’s down slightly from 84% in mid-June.
Surely not - trump said he had 96% approval.
We need Señor Saab's input on this. Surely not - trump said he had 96% approval.

You seem to have missed the Republican approval... at 91% a rise of 6% or that his overall approval is unchanged from the previous poll, I cannot think why you would have left those figures out of your post...
If democratic approval is 2%, and there's an 89% gap....................not really hard to add those two together tbh.paulguitar said:

Not much of a change from the incumbent.Completely hatstand, obviously, but you can at least understand it to be written in English. If you've ever read a transcript of a Trump speech, especially something taken from the second hour, when all vestiges of normality have been stripped away, you'd struggle to identify it as anything other than word salad.

That all seems fine, nothing at all wrong there.

Not as far as some want to go, but hopefully Bernie will have a big role in the Biden administration come January

The Independent is carrying a story saying Trump has a 91% chance of winning in November. It’s that weird model based on Primaries not on opinion polls that one of the “not Trumpers” brought up on here a while back. At least they point out that every other prediction says the opposite, but interesting to see it trying to be explained...

Unless there is a change in the Governor's mansion in Vermont in November Bernie is staying exactly where he is.https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/08/us/politics/bid...

That's true, no need for another unelected GOP senator! I was thinking more in policies,as opposed to something like SecState.Even if not I'm sure Bernie will be there to ensure no backsliding, but the 2 do seem to work well together
