Well if that's the best reason that you have for supporting Biden then I rest my case.

I have been upfront and said from the start that Trumps a fecking idiot, the problem is they are both fking terrible candidates. What we should really be discussing is why we are constantly presented with a choice of two bad options, but no, all people want to do is watch CNN and promote anyone but Trump.

This approach won't solve issues in the long run.

But hey, you guys pick a sentence to quote and say something condescending or nitpicking.
I'd think most of us would agree that Biden is not most folks' first choice, but it looks like that's who it's going to be. So it's really very simple.

Is Biden preferable to trump, on pretty much every level? The answer to that is surely a resounding 'yes'.

But you've just launched into her, straight into the attack, when most us us have discussed this endlessly, who we preferred, who we'd have liked to see instead of Biden, why we think Biden was selected.
All that is already written, yet somehow it's our fault that you can't be bothered reading it, demand answers, and get accusations and insulting and even cut answers from quotes so people responding look bad.

And you wonder why people think you are trolling...

Since this is an election thread, seen the poll on trumps campaign website with the loaded questions

https://www.donaldjtrump.com/landing/2020-trump-vs...

They all carry on like...

1. Who would you rather see fix our Nation’s shattered immigration policies?
President Trump
A MS-13 Loving Democrat
2. Who do you trust more to protect America from foreign and domestic threats?
President Trump
A Corrupt Democrat

If we look at voter registrations, since the start of the year, Democrats in Iowa have added about twice as many active voters to their rolls as Republicans. Iowa is one of the swing states trump won easily in 2016, but his trade wars and policies have hurt the farm state.

That's just one of them. In the main it's because he's a disgusting venal loathsome excuse for a human being with all the charm of a pair of skidmarks on a hobo's underpants. The actual political policies that the GOP have pushed through during his tenure I may not agree with but they represent a certain political philosophy. Trump doesn't represent anything - he's spent the last 5 years behaving like a spoilt lying whiny brat having tantrums because people keep pointing out what a spoilt lying whiny brat he is, rather than fawning over him and telling him how great he is

But they're not BOTH fking terrible candidates. That's a phrase beloved by Not-really-Trumpettes, when they know it's going to be difficult to defend Trump.

From a political point of view the Dems are right wing and the GOP are further-right wing and you can choose whichever best suits. An argument can be put forward for both political standpoints and (arguably) neither are fking terrible.

From an individual point of view it's not even close - you have one person whose a seemingly reasonable bloke, Senator for decades, VP for 8 years and know show to behave like an adult. Then you have another who behaves worse than almost any child under the age of 10. he's a fkwit of the highest order. Not only does he constantly behave like a moron, he seems to take pride in behaving like a moron.

Please give me one single point where you think Biden is "EQUALLY" as bad as Trump.

Looking at the amount of childish emotional insults and swear words littering that post I think I'll refer to my previous point of ceding to your higher debating skills and intellect.

Why were the "Obama FBI" operating in 2017? Didn't they get replaced by the Trump FBI?

ETA it's not worth a read, it's bilge.

So the DOW just took a huge crap all over Trump. Closing down 1861 points, the 4th biggest One day drop in history.

The Mango Maggot was bragging about the stock market a few days ago as an attempt to distract from the societal breakdown currently taking place here. Do we think he’ll be tweeting about it tonight? laugh

Probably because the polls show trump is rapidly tanking

Morning Consult / Politico poll:

Trump approval
39% approve
58% disapprove

He's gone to Bedminster to play golf, or hide as the additional barriers come down outside the whitehouse, whilst CV-19 infections rates rise in at least 19 states, whilst the death rate is now over 116,000 and more than 2m cases.
Remember the original estimate in April was 60,000 deaths by August

trumps Tulsa rally, chosen to appeal to his base as it was the place of the biggest race massacre, has the following disclaimer at the bottom of the registration for Trump's rally in Tulsa: "By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. ... liable for any illness or injury."

He doesn't care anymore, it's all about his campaign for reelection. If these rallies are so unsafe that attendees have to sign a document agreeing not to sue if they catch CV-19 and/or die from it, it proves that it isn’t safe for trump to be holding rallies during a pandemic, which isn't going away as he said it would.

Remember, in April it was forecast to hit 60,000 deaths in August, trump said"It looks like we'll be at about a 60,000 mark, which is 40,000 less than the lowest number thought of."

just a few weeks ago

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

For all of the political hacks out there, if I hadn’t done my job well, & early, we would have lost 1 1/2 to 2 Million People, as opposed to the 100,000 plus that looks like will be the number. That’s 15 to 20 times more than we will lose. I shut down entry from China very early!

Yet you've refused to recognise that people answered you, cutting out those answers from your quotes as not relevant, you were given answers and asked about your position, which you've not answered yet continued with the antagonistic approach. Pretty much the definition of trolling, "baiting people on the internet".

Happy to have a proper discussion, but it has to be two sided

That's not true. Yesterday wasn't even in the top 20 losing days of all time.

As a % it wasn't down that much, as the market grows over time 1 point represents a much smaller proportion of the total.

In any case, it'll go back up in no time. Already up almost 700 today.

Be as pedantic as you like pal. In Trump language and in reality it was the 4th biggest drop in history. Trump talks in points when he’s bigging up the gains so that’s how the losses get assessed. Every one of the top 20 single day points drops in the history of the DOW have come while Trump has been playing at being “president”.

Perhaps you don't understand how the market works. Over time the indices have historically moved upwards. In the 1920s Wall street was around 2000. Move forward a century and it has gone up over 12x.

In 1920 a move to the downside of 1000 points would have been about 50% drop in the index. Today it is ~5%. As the market grows it will have larger point movements during a day which is why most of the biggest point movement days to the downside are very recent. Conversely, the majority of the top daily increases in terms of points have been while Trump is in office.

If the market continues on an upward trajectory then regardless of if it's democrat or republican in power the current figures will be beaten.

Trying to attribute losing days on the market to Trump is idiotic.

I'm looking forward to watching you slag everyone off in here between now and election day only for you to vanish again when your man loses like Hillary did.

Keep up the good work.
