Unless there is a change in the Governor's mansion in Vermont in November Bernie is staying exactly where he is.
That's true, no need for another unelected GOP senator! I was thinking more in policies,as opposed to something like SecState.Even if not I'm sure Bernie will be there to ensure no backsliding, but the 2 do seem to work well together
Even if Byrisma and China DID hire Hunter Biden to gain influence with his dad, is there any evidence that dad did anything for them? Trump looked repeatedly in Ukraine and China (& elsewhere with Barr's little trips)& has nothing
Hunter got a job on daddy's name which isn't unusual amongst the rich...just look at the jobs Ivanka got!

Interesting article on GOP voter suppression, intimidation, confusion, etc.
Didn't know there was an agreement that neither party would do stuff at polling stations, that ended with Trump! Cant think why?

I can't see the US lurching madly to the left as Legion claims if Biden gets in, it may become more centrist (in a UK sense) & certainly less fascist.
That depends of course on Biden honouring his agreement with Sanders (I think he will) & eventually the USA may be dragged into the 21st century!
Since lots of Dems voted to refuse a mere 10% reduction in military spending, it may take a while.

Ok, so people are defending themselves against people trying to blockade their vehicles and posing a threat to them?Where's the burning down buildings you mentioned?
If "threatened" in their multi-ton tanks by people they tower over, why not reverse? Why be there in the first place?

Ah yes, forgot how unfashionable it was to be patriotic these days.
Maybe wanting America to be a better, more equal place for everyone, no matter what colour, sex, religion, sexuality, etc, is more patriotic than wanting violence, disorder, hate and division? Driving trucks into crowds falls into the latter IMHO.Lincoln Project are doing great but here's an Aussie take on Trump & the election(NSFW)

I think Trump is going to win (that's think not wish) The disorder isn't playing well and Trump is placing it at the feet of the dems, if he successfully keeps it there then you might find enough people in the swing states that hold their nose and vote him in again.
How come Biden has to answer for every nutter with a molotov currently, but no one takes Trump to task for the right wing terrorism that is increasing massively under his rule?Wills2 said:

Why are you asking me? I didn't say he has to I just said what Trump is trying to do. Not you specifically,h quote was used for context.
It just seems that the riots are blamed on the cities/mayors/governors being Dem(hence the blame goes to Biden), Trumpettes dont acknowledge their glorious leader's role...but they can hardly be expected to
The media certainly doesnt seem to be pressing hard on this to Trump..but I guess riots make better TV
Guardian has a piece about how Biden resigned from the 1987 Presidential race because he forgot to credit Neil Kinnock in one of his speeches, by accident. The plagiarism"scandal" meant he dropped out, can you imagine Trump doing that?
Kinnock has some forthright views on the candidates too

OK well you may want to tell the Dems not to say it anymore then.
Perhaps you can provide a clip of Biden saying "We are going to defund the police" instead.Countdown said:

Fox News rots your brain.
Not just Fox News - it's also the likes of Alec Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, and the plethora of "TV Evangelists". Imagine a cross between David icke and Nigel Farage.......Bernie,AOC, Warren, certainly not Biden, are not "Socialists"

........... People do not want super high tax rates, open immigration, free college and free healthcare for all. Thats why Bernie and Warren couldn't even win the Democratic primary.
And there it is folks, the GOP attitude in a nutshell! "Ive got mine so fk the rest of you. Too bad if you're poor,or sick, or the wrong colour (i.e. not white)"Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
