It's absolutely horrifying how one imbecillic, ignorant, deeply unintelligent, lunatic, compulsive Bull*****er can drag an entire nation down to a laughing stock, then into pity before crashing into the Gutter & keep on digging.
Even more mortifying is that in the midst of the current economic & health disaster People still support a blatantly, crushingly incompetent, incapable, self serving sociopath.
I like the cut of your jib, sir.

Without reading the username I can always tell who wrote the post as it mirrors my own thoughts on the Orange stgibbon.

I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone, that's how bizarre I find it that he isn't already in prison let alone still in the running for re-election!
It's funny (the only thing in this thread that genuinely is) I only started posting on here because the levels of utter insanity were (are!) SO warped, so corrupted & so far beyond my own comprehension that I was "almost" thinking
"is it just me?"
I'm a really easy going, polite, light Hearted Guy, but I've come to deeply, achingly loathe the sub human, empty, shambling, cowardly, shell of a Clown that currently infests the White House. These are levels of contempt, pity & disgust I genuinely cannot recall ever having felt before, for anyone or anything......And for making me feel those things I loathe him even more! hehe

You Sir, are welcome to comment upon my Jib & it's cut, anytime you please.

The Donald ended his interview with Sixty Minutes early and is now having a mini melt down on Twitter. It's so unfair.

Even looking at his Twitter feed, most of the comments are negative and anti Trump. He is losing. BIGLY.

Rather ironic and sad (and perhaps shameful if you are American) that the first President was famous for not being able to tell a lie whilst the current incumbent seems unable to say anything but lies.

They'll call it Trump Derangement Syndrome and think they're clever.
They'll call you a looney leftist/librul whatever and tell you to stop drinking the kool-aid

But I don't think they really realise that irrespective of where you sit on the political spectrum, Trump has the worst facets of human kind all wrapped up in a tremendously awful package and it really is true that if you like him then you've not developed healthily as a human being yourself.

To fail to see the such glaringly obvious sttery that is Donald J. Trump is to be truly blind to all that is bad.

Best election odds?
I am not sure, if anyone can help with this I'd be grateful.
I placed my bet on a Trump win months a go and the odds weren't great, I got 8/13 on a trump win. Might be better odds on him now as he's had a bit of a shaky time since I placed my bet.

This criticism of trump seems the flip side of going mental that Obama wore a tan suit.
Which happened because there was nothing else of note to go after him for.

Anti-Trumpsters are retaliating tit-for-tat because when they point out the stuff that matters, you know, like the fact he's been impeached, the fact he and his family are banned from running charities and the literally hundreds of other examples of what a stty human being he is, never mind the most unsuitable person on the planet to be POTUS, his supporters don't care.

Absolutely it distracts from the important stuff, but when the GOP and his supporters just turn a blind eye, what can you do?
Don't forget Dijon-gate and selfiestick-gate; these offences against patriotic american condiments and conduct in public office respectively have yet to be accounted for! wobble

As said previously, this doesn't stop in January, there's enough sealed indictments to keep reporting on, enough investigations, then there's the whole sorry story of trumps 4 years that will come out after he leaves power

I’ve looked for positives in Trump’s term. As some on Twitter have said, he’s delivered on his promises: the wall paid for by the Mexicans – which of us thought he’d deliver on that, and the strong economy – production might be down, unemployment might be up, but on some of the other markers, he’s there or thereabouts, and then there’s the tax cuts, especially for the rich – good one there, Donald, not to mention the Paris Climate Accord – it’s a hoax he tells us, so that’s all right, and replacing Obamacare – that went well, although I missed the fine details, then upping spending on the forces, although pulling them back to the US – just as well he did given the demand for riot police, not to mention walking to church, torture – that’s not the torture of having him as president but waterboarding – is it over now? And Hilary Clinton is still free, a criminal, according to him, free to walk around, just like him.

So some positives there: tax cuts but spending a lot more. That’ll help the national debt, which he promised to reduce.
I think I had an honest go at giving the positives and many negatives last week in response to a trumpette who dropped some stinkey bait then left without replying. I'll hunt it out.

Another day, another trump associate and GOP deputy finance chair guilty...

A top Republican fundraiser has pleaded guilty to the charge of conspiring to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

Elliott Broidy, a former deputy finance chairman for the Republican National Committee, conspired with others to influence the federal government on behalf of Malaysian financier Jho Low, he acknowledged on Tuesday.

Criminal charges for violations of the 1938 law had been rare in recent decades, and charges of conspiracy to violate FARA even rarer: As Broidy’s plea agreement notes, there are no applicable sentencing guidelines for the charge.

But FARA has come to the fore in President Donald Trump’s Washington, where global money and influence have flowed especially freely. The Justice Department signaled last year its intent to tighten enforcement, following the high-profile prosecutions of Trump lieutenants Paul Manafort and Rick Gates for charges that stemmed from their foreign lobbying work.

Broidy will forfeit $6.6 million as part of the deal.

Low, an international fugitive from justice, stands accused of masterminding the massive 1Malaysia Development Berhad, or 1MDB, fraud. He has denied wrongdoing and recruited a stable of American advisers, but has not come to the U.S. to face charges.

Broidy’s efforts on behalf of Low included attempts to soften the Trump administration's stance on the 1MDB fraud, and to bolster Beijing’s efforts to secure the extradition of Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui, an ally of Steve Bannon’s seeking asylum in the U.S.

trump campaign skint. Maybe if he hadn't punted at least $170m through Parscale of the over $1bn he collected...

President Trump’s re-election campaign committee ended September with only $63.1 million in the bank despite canceling some television buys late last month, leaving him badly outmatched financially against Joseph R. Biden Jr., who reported $177.3 million in cash on hand for the final stretch of the campaign.

New filings with the Federal Election Commission showed the extent of Mr. Trump’s cash troubles, which are severe enough that he diverted time from key battleground states and flew to California on Sunday for a fund-raiser with just over two weeks until Election Day. The president ended September with just over half as much money as he had at the beginning of the month.

While Mr. Trump’s campaign and its shared committees with the Republican National Committee have raised $1.5 billion since the start of 2019, the disclosures late Tuesday showed that his main re-election committee — the account that must pay for many of the race’s most important costs, including most television ads — had only a small slice remaining.

All told, Mr. Trump’s campaign and its shared committees with the R.N.C. had $251.4 million entering October, compared with the $432 million that Mr. Biden’s campaign and its joint accounts with the Democratic National Committee had in the bank.
https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/10/20/us/trump-b...

Edit: The Associated Press, while investigating how Trump plowed through a billion dollars during the campaign, found this interesting detail: A web of limited liability companies hid more than $310 million in spending from disclosure, records show.

NY Times continues with trumps tax fraud investigation

Trump's tax records show that Trump maintains a previously unknown bank account in China. And it turns out that China is one of only three foreign nations — the others are Britain and Ireland — where Mr. Trump maintains a bank account, according to an analysis of the president’s tax records, which were obtained by The New York Times. The foreign accounts do not show up on Mr. Trump’s public financial disclosures, where he must list personal assets, because they are held under corporate names. The identities of the financial institutions are not clear.

"The Chinese account is controlled by Trump International Hotels Management L.L.C., which the tax records show paid $188,561 in taxes in China while pursuing licensing deals there from 2013 to 2015."

Alan Garten, a lawyer for the Trump Org., would not identify the bank in China where the account is held.
Until last year, China's biggest state-controlled bank rented three floors in Trump Tower, a lucrative lease that drew accusations of a conflict of interest.

Trump's plans in China have been largely driven by Trump International Hotels Management — the one with a Chinese bank account.
In 2017, the company reported an unusually large spike in revenue — some $17.5 million, more than the previous five years' combined.

Not long after the election, Trump reported selling a penthouse for $15.8 mil to a Chinese-American businesswoman who reportedly has connections to government and political elites in China. Records show Trump reported a capital gain of at least $5.6 mil from the sale in 2017.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/20/us/trump-taxes-...

The NYT says that in 2017, Trump’s company saw a sudden $17.5 million spike in revenue, and that Trump then withdrew $15.1 million of it so a money trail from effectively the China govt to trump.
This is just a small amount of money in trump terms, soit’s likely that this discovery is merely the tip of the iceberg and more signs he a financial puppet of hostile foreign governments.

And of course there's an inflated property sale to someone. It's worked well in the past...

Edit: Remember how trump kept claiming Joe and Hunter Biden had a secret Chinese bank account. That old tell of accusing others of what you've done...

Part of Stephen Millars plan, appeal to the MAGA base, dissuade people from coming letting it be known that their children would be forfeited for ever, genius if you ignore the morals and legalities

- 283 children whose parents have not been found.
- 187 children whose parents have been found, but who have not been successfully contacted.
- 75 children whose parents have not been found, but telephonic outreach is expected to be successful.

From: https://twitter.com/ReichlinMelnick/status/1318715...

Many of the families still separated were from people subject to family separation during the El Paso Pilot Project. Over 1,000 families broken apart before the nation even heard the term “Zero Tolerance.” The process of reunifying these families has been more difficult.

By the time Judge Sabraw ordered family reunification, more than 1,000 parents had already been deported. Around 2,000 were still in an ICE jail and waiting for court hearings, but hundreds more had been ordered deported and were still in ICE custody. So what happened to them?

For those parents who had already been ordered deported, ICE gave them a “choice.”
- Be reunited and deported together, even if it means your child has to give up on asylum, or;
- Agree to give up your child, letting them have a chance at safety in the US.
The only way to reunite with your child is if you agree to take them back to the terrible situation you both fled from.

Some parents, when presented with that ICE form, didn’t know what they were signing.
Some parents were coerced by ICE into signing a form which gave up their rights to reunite with their kids.

President Donald Trump abruptly ended a solo interview with CBS News' "60 Minutes" Tuesday and did not return for an appearance he was supposed to tape with Vice President Mike Pence, according to multiple sources familiar with what happened.

After camera crews set up at the White House on Monday, Trump sat down with host Lesley Stahl for about 45 minutes on Tuesday before he abruptly ended the interview and told the network he believed they had enough material to use, according to two sources.
CBS News did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment. When reached for comment, the White House did not dispute CNN's reporting.

The President later accused Stahl of not wearing a mask and tweeted out a brief clip of her without one while at the White House.
A person familiar with the situation told CNN that the image from the tweet shows Stahl with her producers immediately after Trump ended the interview. Stahl had not yet gone back to get her personal belongings to put her mask back on. She had a mask on from the time she entered the White House and just before the interview began.

Like trump cares about mask wearing... So from now on everyone should wear a mask when interviewing him...make him the odd one out
