45th President of the United States, Donald Trump (Vol. 9)

Remember, the New York Times revealed that one of Donald Trump’s companies has a secret bank account in China, and that in 2017 someone deposited $17 million into that account, of which Trump then took $15 million for himself. The fact that Trump kept this hidden suggests that this money was in fact a foreign bribe.
Chinese banks are under the control of the Chinese government, and all this happened at a time that Ivanka was given numerous patents by China, when trump was 'negotiating' the trade with China.
China has a huge stake in dealing with the United States, so it’s difficult to imagine that it didn’t know Donald Trump’s Chinese bank account existed, that they didn't know where that $17 million came from, and they know that Trump took $15 million of it for himself.
So trumps shown to be compromised by another foreign power, after selling out the US for his own personal profit. Is this why the US ended up with huge tariffs, the Chinese Govt were unhappy trump didn't stick to his deal that he was paid for, and trump doubled down as usual escalating the tarrifs, costing US companies and consumers?
Was this then the reason why trump publicly praised President Xi and the Chinese government in the first few months of the CV-19 pandemic? Was trump compromised and so americans died because of this?
Questions are being asked..
It makes you wonder where his distrust of Huawei and TikTok comes from, did they refuse to pay what he asked for? This is the guy that all the hardcore researchers and experts in the 1984 thread are arguing is exposing the truth.
That thread made for some entertaining reading It does make me wonder about the relationship between paid trolls and genuine idiots because it must be somewhat symbiotic, with the idiot being fed talking points to latch on to and the paid troll being trained to promote the same talking points. There's no functional difference between the two when it comes to q anon types.
Somewhere in Russia there must be a training course in how to be a grade A bellend on the internet. Would probably be quite an interesting course.
A more Arabic take on Trump...

The memo argued that the cities haven’t done enough to quash riots stemming from this summer’s protests over systemic racism and police violence.
Right? So the solution to riots over racism and police violence is to carry out more racism and police violence. No wonder Trump has never actually achieved anything in his life with such a brilliant insight into "problem solving" such as this.......Tartan Pixie said:

Genuinely surprised at this post TP, I thought "troll farming" was widely understood as the practice of breeding a group of self sustaining trolls who do your nefarious deeds without even needing to be paid? It's just the extension of the old "useful idiots" scheme into the mass internet, they have been doing it for years. It does make me wonder about the relationship between paid trolls and genuine idiots because it must be somewhat symbiotic, with the idiot being fed talking points to latch on to and the paid troll being trained to promote the same talking points. I haven’t had a chance to look into it much... has there been any official confirmation that the Hunter Biden laptop emails are fake?
Do you really think you'll get official confirmation of such a thing?Take for instance - the pee tape - there's been no official confirmation that it's a fake/doesn't exist.
Or Hillary's emails - there's been no official confirmation that someone has them or that there's anything in them or that she deleted them.
Do you really think another tinpot conspiracy theory is going to get official confirmation one way or another?
It already shows the power of such a load of propaganda though if you've not had a chance to look into it much and yet you're hooked enough to care about whether the emails are fake or not. Guess that's exactly why they do it, for the less invested lot to start chatting about and chinese whispers takes care of the rest.

Bit of a tangent and I know nothing about the process by which ship names are chosen in the USN so take the following with a pinch of salt, however I did find it quite interesting.
America's latest Aircraft carrier (CVN-81) is to be named USS Doris Miller after the African American man who won a navy cross for valour shown at Peart Harbour. It will be the second time a USN ship carries his name, the first being a knox class destroyer built in the 70's.
The decision to name the carrier USS Doris Miller was taken before the BML protests so shouldn't be confused with that, however there does seem to be something going on with the naming of US capital ships, a list of which can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_car...
The trend for naming carriers after former presidents started in 1968 with the USS John F Kennedy and will end when the currently under construction USS John F Kennedy is commisioned in 2022 (CVN-79). From then on the naming convention reverts to previously used names starting with CVN-80 which will be called USS Enterprise.
There's a couple of things that strike me about this. One is that at some point previous to 2016 a group of admirals must have sat round a table and agreed that now would be a really good time to stop naming carriers after presidents and revert to something less political, which is a savvy move and with the previous USS Enterprise being decomissioned in 2017 it's also entirely in keeping with naval tradition.
This also means there us unlikely to ever be a USS Donald J Trump and we all know how much he loves putting his name on things so I'm pretty sure an aircraft carrier would be high on the wish list, especially as McCain "only" got a destroyer named after him. There will however be a USS Doris Miller.

You made me curious TP so I googled it.

Seems that there are a lot of conventions. The idea of naming ammo ships after thing relating to fire and explosions tickles my dark sense of humour.
However it seems that this can be arbitrarily over ridden.
I strongly suspect that the Navy are trying to avoid getting involved in petty politics. It should be noted that the Gerald R Ford class, it's namesake CVN 77 and CVN 78 USS George Bush were named in the Obama era with no issues.
Almost seems a lifetime ago though.

A paid Russian troll must at some point get their hands dirty and post on the internet in order to get their disinformation out there. Even with bots and automated accounts you need actual people at the coal face working the useful idiots and I'm guessing someone working full time can post an awful lot of drivel in one day.
It was intended as a light hearted observation so wouldn't read too much in to it, I was just amused by the idea of Ivan sat in an FSB classroom being taught about American idiots and it occured to me that it would be interesting to know what Russian agents are taught and what effect being steeped in American political culture might have on the agent themself?

Agreed, it's a trivial aside rather than a political point. Talking of which, when it comes to ship names the Royal Navy have some good ones...https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_ship...

trumps DNI Ratcliffe has taken some time from hunting out excerpts and documents to release to try to placate trump hatred of Obama and Clinton, to quickly say there's no russian involvement, however the FBI which are investigating havent said that. Many experts (over 50 now) have said it has all the indications of being further russian disinformation to assist trumps reelection. Even Guiliani said it was 50/50 chance he'd worked with russian intelligence to get dirt on Biden...
https://www.thedailybeast.com/rudy-giuliani-says-t...
Remember Giuliani was put onto this mission to manufacture dirt against Biden by trump over two years ago, before Biden even announced he was running. There's been several 'investigations' (Johnson etc) that have come to nothing, Giuliani has made many claims over the last two years that have come to nothing, trumps been indicted over trying to manufacture dirt on Biden etc etc...
Remember, the story is that Hunter Biden flew 3000 miles to Delaware, when he was living in California, to drop off a laptop in a random computer repair shop owned by a trump supporter, who claims Hunter Biden dropped off the laptop, but is legally blind. The story was written by someone who refused to put his name on it, credited to Hannity's ex producer and Giuliani was involved after being called by the shop owner, because of course his number is freely available, as was Giuliani who's spent two years in and around Ukraine and russian assets trying to find dirt and suddenly 3 weeks before an election is provided with a convenient smoking gun.
I can't think why that story doesn't hold water..

Yeah right - overzealous volunteers...
California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra on Tuesday sought a court order to force state Republican officials to turn over information about the party’s use of private drop boxes for collecting ballots in a handful of counties across the state.
Leaders of the California Republican Party have insisted the program has followed all applicable rules and regulations and accused both Becerra and Secretary of State Alex Padilla of a partisan investigation.
Last week, Republicans and the two Democratic state officials criticized each other in a series of dueling public statements over the GOP’s distribution of metal containers to party offices, churches and private businesses where voters were invited to deposit their completed ballots.
California election law allows voters to “designate a person” to collect and return a ballot, but it only mentions drop boxes operated by county elections officials. Social media postings earlier this month showed some receptacles with the label “official drop box,” prompting state elections officials to send a cease-and-desist letter to Republicans demanding the removal of the signs.

The complaint filed in Sacramento County Superior Court alleges several examples of the drop boxes being promoted as either “authorized” or “official.” It says the GOP effort “caused confusion among voters, prompted complaints from county elections officials alarmed about their use, and raised serious concerns about whether the appropriate chain of custody was being observed for ballots deposited” in the boxes.
“Here in California, we’re doing everything in our power to protect the integrity of our elections,” Becerra said in a written statement. “As part of that and pursuant to our statutory authority, we issued subpoenas and interrogatories to determine the extent to which the deployment of unauthorized ballot drop boxes may have impacted Californians.”
State GOP officials said last week that the labels were the work of “overzealous” local volunteers and that they were quickly replaced. And they have insisted that without those erroneous signs, there is nothing else about their effort to cause concern.
