I don't think it's the moderator that is turning the mics on and off - it's someone off camera.
Trump definitely getting more mic time than Biden. Biden a lot more brief and to the point.

He's getting rattled when the moderator stops him from babbling.

He really is a master of deflection.

Much better overall tonight. I think Biden has probably edged it over the course of the debate. I had thought shutting up Trump would benefit him (and I think it has) but what he hasn’t been able to do is get any sound bites in.

I’m glad Biden was able to say some things he actually wanted to do. He had a strong debate, after a shaky start.

I don’t think the Hunter Biden thing landed.

Biden has said for ages that he wants to kill off fossil fuels. Nothing new.

Thats killed off the Joe Biden china story, so we can get back to trumps china bank account and payments from the chinese government, patents given to ivanka, loans to trumps asia businesses...

Corporate records reviewed by The Wall Street Journal show no role for Joe Biden in the China business venture.

An ex-business partner of Hunter Biden, in a news conference organized by the Trump campaign, alleged that former Vice President Joe Biden was part of discussions around his son’s efforts to form an investment venture with a Chinese oil company.

The Biden campaign denied Joe Biden had any involvement in the venture or stood to gain by it.

Mr. Bobulinski, who was a guest of Mr. Trump’s at Thursday’s debate in Nashville, didn’t take any questions after his statement or provide further details on any remarks made by the former vice president. He displayed three phones which he said contained information that he would hand over to the FBI. He also said he would provide information to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee led by Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) on Friday.

Text messages and emails related to the venture that were provided to the Journal by Mr. Bobulinski, mainly from the spring and summer of 2017, don’t show either Hunter Biden or James Biden discussing a role for Joe Biden in the venture.

The venture—set up in 2017 after Mr. Biden left the vice presidency and before his presidential campaign—never received proposed funds from the Chinese company or completed any deals.... Corporate records reviewed by WSJ show no role for Joe Biden.

Guest of trump, speaking to desperate dirt manufacturing Ron Johnson... nothing suspicious there

This was a good hit

Joe Biden: "I have not taken a penny from any foreign source ever in my life." "I have released all of my tax returns. 22 years. Go look at them. 22 years of my tax returns. You have not released a single, solitary year of your tax returns. What are you hiding? Why are you unwilling?" "Release your tax return or stop talking about corruption."

In a new technical alert, the FBI and the CISA said that hackers working for the Russian government had successfully broken into several local government networks, and as of the beginning of October, had stolen data from at least two of them.

The Trump administration has known for weeks that Iran and Russia had hacked local governments and obtained voter registration and other personal data, two U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.

At a news conference Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray and National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe alleged that Iranian intelligence used the hacked information for a recent campaign of emails that purported to be from the white nationalist group the Proud Boys, which were sent to intimidate Florida Democratic voters. They added that Russia was also working to influence the election.

In a technical alert issued Thursday, the FBI and the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said that hackers working for the Russian government had broken into several local government networks and that as of the beginning of October had stolen data from at least two of them. In at least one instance, the hackers were able to crawl the victim's computer network to access a wide array of information, including how to reset passwords and print ID badges.

While the agencies said they had yet to see the hackers intentionally disrupt election operations, they said hackers "may be seeking access to obtain future disruption options" or "to influence U.S. policies and actions."

Iranian and Russian officials have denied the allegations.

The Department of Homeland Security had previously warned about the hacks in an Oct. 8 report.

American officials expect that if the presidential race is not called on election night, Russian groups could use their knowledge of local computer systems to deface websites, release nonpublic information or take similar steps that could sow chaos and doubts about the results.

The Trump campaign has been videotaping Philadelphia voters while they deposit their ballots in drop boxes, leading Pennsylvania's attorney general to warn that the campaign's actions could amount to illegal voter intimidation.

The campaign made a formal complaint to city officials on Oct. 16, saying a campaign representative had surveilled voters depositing two or three ballots at drop boxes, instead of only their own. The campaign called the conduct “blatant violations of the Pennsylvania election code,” according to a letter from a lawyer representing the Trump campaign that was reviewed by The New York Times. The campaign included photos of three voters who it claimed were dropping off multiple ballots.

“This must be stopped,” a local lawyer for the Trump campaign, Linda A. Kerns, wrote in the letter, adding that the actions “undermine the integrity of the voting process.”

Both the Trump and Biden campaigns are focused on Pennsylvania, seen as one of the most important swing states in the election and where polls show Joseph R. Biden Jr. with a seven-point lead.

The Trump campaign’s aggressive strategy in Philadelphia suggests its aim is to crack down on people dropping off ballots for family members or anyone else who is not strictly authorized to do so. Ms. Kerns demanded that the names of all voters who had used a drop box in front of Philadelphia’s City Hall on Oct. 14 be turned over to the campaign, and insisted that the city station a staff member around every drop box “at all times.” She also asked for footage from municipal cameras around City Hall.

But city officials rejected the assertion that the voters who had been photographed had necessarily done something improper. The city’s lawyers forwarded the campaign’s complaints to the local district attorney, but did not make a formal referral and cast doubt on the assertions. They also said they do not track which voters use which drop box.

“Third party delivery is permitted in certain circumstances,” Benjamin H. Field, a deputy city solicitor and counsel to the city Board of Elections, wrote in a letter sent to Ms. Kerns on Monday. “The Board cannot agree with your conclusion on the basis of the information you provided. Nor can the Board, in exercising its duties, assume that an individual is violating the Election Code when that person can act as an agent for a voter who required assistance.”

In the '60 Minutes' interview trump posted, Stahl pushes back several times after trump goes on a rant about his fake claims that Obama spied on his campaign. Stahl: "Sir, can I say something? This is '60 Minutes' And we can't put on things we can't verify."

Stahl confronts trump about the Hunter Biden laptop: "The sources are Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani." trump responds: "I don't know anything about that."

Stahl asks about the plot against Whitmer. He says he doesn't know about the plot. Stahl: "I'm telling you about the plot."
He adds: "It was our Justice Dept. that is the one that's helping her. My Justice Dept. — we call it that."

trump complains that Stahl asked inappropriate questions (she did not). Stahl responds: "You're president. Don't you think you should be accountable to the American people?"
trump says that when Stahl set up the interview, she didn't specify that she would ask tough questions.

Just how deluded is he that trump thought that releasing this footage would make him look good.?

Foxnews journalist is stiring the Bidens china claims with photo's of messages on a phone.

https://twitter.com/MikeEmanuelFox/status/13192820...
Hunter Biden text exchange from June 2017 obtained by #FoxNews ranting to his business partners about not wanting to "sign over my family's brand", "the keys to my family's only asset" to Tony Bobulinski. Warning: foul language.

I think they've got some explaining to do.
Note that the alleged incoming text is on a phone connected to Russia’s ru mts mobile network.

Where did you get this broken blackberry full of circa 2017 iPhone screenshots and text messages. Is this the further manufactured evidence Guiliani said he had?

Why would this screenshot of an iOS device connected to a Russian cell network be loaded on the blackberry?
Why would you photograph it with a third phone, revealing this strange circumstance, rather than send the file somewhere?
