Maxwell Arrested

The names of at least 1,000 people appear in sealed court documents associated with Jeffrey Epstein, a court heard on Wednesday. Whether to make them public is the latest skirmish in a years-long legal battle that continues to play out even after Epstein’s death.
The revelation came after attorneys for a “John Doe” asked a federal judge in New York not to release the names of people who were not directly involved with the 2015 defamation lawsuit filed by Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre against Epstein’s longtime confidante Ghislaine Maxwell.

Back in 2015, a woman named Virginia Roberts alleged that U.S. authorities had footage of her having underage sex with powerful friends of billionaire Epstein, who was charged by federal prosecutors on Monday with sex trafficking, including trafficking minors. Roberts said Epstein "debriefed her" after she had sex with these "associates" so that he would possess "intimate and potentially embarrassing information" that could be used for blackmail. Epstein's allies dismissed Roberts as "a liar and a fantasist."
But after Epstein was arrested on Saturday, a law enforcement search of his Upper East Side apartment reportedly revealed compact discs in a locked safe labeled "Young [Name] + [Name]," which, as The Intercept's Ryan Grim points out, could buttress Roberts' allegations.

Federal prosecutors on Monday said wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein is a “serial sexual predator” who has maintained “a vast trove of lewd photographs” of young-looking women or girls as they asked a judge to hold him without bail on child sex trafficking charges.
Federal agents who searched Epstein’s $77 million Upper East Side townhouse in Manhattan also found “in a locked safe ... compact discs with hand-written labels including the following: ‘Young [Name] + [Name],’ ‘Misc nudes 1,’ and ‘Girl pics nudes,’ ” according to a new court filing in Epstein’s case.

My absolute 100% guess on this is
They knew where she was
They have a good idea she is guilty of a lot
They had no evidence
French Police bust wide open an encrypted phone system used by criminals all over
They get what they needed to arrest, they'll now encourage her to trade down her sentence as much as possible by throwing everyone else under the bus
Whether she gets the chance to name names is yet to be seen I guess

The mobile system was only broken after Epsteings death, and after his arrest? I imagine anything regarding him would have stopped being communicated for the last year and been wiped from all phones on his arrest? The New York State Department of Financial Services fined Deutsche Bank $150 million Tuesday and slammed the lender for "mistakes and sloppiness" in its relationship with accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Authorities said Deutsche Bank's "significant compliance failures" allowed Epstein to conduct hundreds of transactions totaling millions of dollars that should have prompted additional scrutiny.
Here's the interesting bit
The suspicious transactions flagged by the regulator included payments to individuals who were publicly alleged to have been Epstein's co-conspirators in sexually abusing young women -- as well as payments to Russian models, school tuitions for several women, hotel expenses and direct payments to numerous women with Eastern European last names.
https://edition.cnn.com/2020/07/07/business/jeffre...
Deutsche Bank has provided “exemplary cooperation” in the investigation, has turned over detailed financial records about these payments to Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators, meaning that New York State investigators now have a money trail for identifying, investigating, and prosecuting Epstein’s co-conspirators, or possibly knowing where blackmail payments came from?

I hope she has lots of dirt on Trump, Andrew and others.
If such people are too big to be prosecuted, I want them publicly humiliated instead.

I can't see anything specific there! And, as for anyone expecting a legal triumph here, with almost 1,000 people having lives and reputations at risk, right up to Bill and Donny, do you think there won't be un-fecking-believable pressure to make sure this is a farce of a trial with only some low level peedlers being outed??

There are also likely to be literally hundreds of people, some very well known, who associated in some way with Epstein but were guilty of no wrongdoing whatsoever. Epstein's other great interest (aside from girls) was science, and he was fascinated by scientists and intellectuals. There are, of course, also specific allegations that have been made against some very powerful people associated with Epstein, notably Prince Andrew and donald trump.

The idea that Ghislaine was slaving over a reddit account for years and years, right from the start, stretches credulity a tad.
