Breaking news. Who is she married to...

The US has legal protections for married couples being compelled to give evidence against each other. How hard can it be for the authorities to find out who she is married to, it should be a matter of public record.

Does our favorite missile decoy need Mummy's permission to marry?

Who says they married in the USA? Or gave real names?

She must know so much about so many people. It won’t ever get to a trial.

Or she will stay quiet to protect her husband and her family from harm.

Off topic a little but What I do not get about Maxwell and others who have money but for one reason or another the authorities are coming for them, why hang around?

Why not take your money and move to a country were it be harder for the law enforcers to get you?

I mentioned that before she has a French passport and spent the last few months in France and the French don't extradite their citizens it's utterly bizarre that she went back there and sat waiting for this.

Something doesn't add up.

I don't get this, either. If I was a wrong 'un then I'd be out of there - a US prison is not a nice place to be.

In the same vein I also wonder at the likes of Stuart Hall confessing to his crimes when surely there was no actual evidence after several decades. Unless he has suddenly developed a conscience in this respect you'd think he'd have just said "no I didn't" and walk away free. confused (I confess I don't know the details - I'm off to check).

ETA: yeah, he wasn't really going to get away denying all that yikes

Matter of time isn't it.

Regarding her flight or not, if she was up to her neck in sting operations run by whatever agencies then it would make sense why she stayed, as She would think she would continue to be protected.

She's playing musical chairs in jail. Moving about, but that won't stop the determined hitman.

Surely if the marriage is legitimate, and we know who Ghislaine Maxwell is (and we do), then it's a simple job to run her name through the marriage records of the 200 ish countries to find out who the spouse is?

No record = no marriage.

Can't take more than an afternoon, can it?

America has a few ways to get secretly married. In one of them, you get married, be given the certificate, but no records are kept.

So the registrar got paid well, or he or she hasnt seen the news and twigged his or her memory

Will she use her money to bribe her guards so that she can escape or to be allowed to commit suicide?
My fantasy is that she agrees to donate ALL her money & possessions to charity in return for telling all & being released.
As already noted I bet there are some people having sleepless nights in case she does spill the beans - yippee.

Judge orders some documents that were sealed (2015?) to be opened up.

Edit. Opsy, this is a rolling case on the go now at this time. Still batting back and fore.

Now looks ike a week to appeal then some are released. (??).
