So what did this woman get out of her arrangement? was she paid for procuring these girls?
If she is guilty, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that she got her own kick out of it. Or she "loved Epstein so much" she'd do anything to make him happy.

Is the Netflix series on him worth a watch?

Had it on the list but not got around to it.

No problem here either.

Anyhoo. Not seen the Netflix thing, dropped my subscription as I wasn't getting on with it. Miami Herald and a reporter called Julie Brown (who broke the bit that resulted (??) in his arrest pre suicide. Those articles are worth a look.

Edit. Just found the book that has been thrown at her. Ouch. Spill the beans ploy?

He should be able to find plenty of white Fiats on AutoTader or the PH classifieds without having to make any calls...

Nothing to add except I'm just surprised she's managed to avoid detection all this time.
She hasn't avoided detection at all.

It's just taken a while to build up enough evidence to actually build a case.

She was trying to live as a socialite in NY having scarpered Europe once her dad was exposed as a conman extraordinaire.

But she was getting skint.

And then she met Epstein another manipulative like her father before and she saw the $$$$$'s.

The division of the SDNY that is handling the case is the public corruption unit. The unit does NOT deal with sexual crimes unless there is a potential crime by a public official.

Hasn't Trump just fired the rather anti-Trump SDNY attorney? And now Maxwell is arrested.

It doesn't look like they are after The Donald...

“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump told New York Magazine that year for a story headlined “Jeffrey Epstein: International Moneyman of Mystery.” “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.

Yes, because when you see who his co-defendants are likely to be it's not exactly a surprise.

His 'prison' sentence wasn't even prison really, he was allowed out to his office every day!

The whole thing stinks.

His deputy has taken his job, she's a career prosecutor rather than a political appointee so not obviously a source of shenanigans.

She's been charged

This will be interesting I'm sure. Staring down the barrel of a long sentence who knows what she may say about Andrew and other high profile nonces to get that reduced.
