Random quote from clash music.com

“Megan Thee Stallion appeared on his show last year, and was shocked by Westwood's remarks, and his lascivious tongue movements.”

Young Ross was in a club near me in the 90's - he had his minder scouting for as much fanny as he could handle

As for Westwood, and his fame in the 90's, I'd be surprised if he didn't take advantage - I bet he was fighting them off
Westwood will have absolutely been fighting them off with a stty stick back in the 90's.

Do you think him being white is playing into it at all ? Black male music stars from that era were not generally the most gentlemanly allegedly!

Allegedly, the complaints are from mostly black girls according to the articles I have read.

At the end of the day, none of us have a clue what really went on, so I guess we will just have too wait and see where this all goes.

Also it always seems to be about sacking or “cancelling” people rather than going to the police with evidence?

Jimmy Savile had many Friend in high places.

With all this BLM stuff a cynic might say people are trying to smear him, just seems a bit odd at this time considering how long he's been around.

Cultural appropriation or because he promoted music of black origin? Hard to keep up with what people find offensive nowadays hehe

We now live in a world where we can make ourselves feel better by suing or blaming someone else for our regrets and mistakes.

The lack of personal responsibility in so many these days I fine incredibly worrying and sad.

i do't agree with whatever happens but the Rolling Stones, The Beatles etc had sex with underage groupies. Yet nothing is said or done about it. This trial by media needs to include everyone.

I reckon most of us have had an experience where we have woken up the next day and thought "Oh my god did I really do that last night?"

The difference is, not everyone tries to shrug that regret onto others.

No idea he was 62! But if he's still up to his old tricks now then he's got it coming.

I even remember Ross Kemp doing an appearance at a Southampton night club and saying how he's going to have sex with everyone's girlfriends.
The stories I’ve heard he wasn’t interested in the girlfriends... whistle

Back in the late nineties a stoke based boy band member was well known to turn up at Keele university after a coke binge to pick up very willing girls for an after party. Sleazy but not illegal.

It seems like TW has done similar, allegations are off the back of a girl apparently ‘drugged’ by him, this may prove itself to be true and I wouldn’t discredit her just for speaking out, but there was a lot of booze/drugs at Westwood after parties so there’s every chance she put herself in that position.

Hideous.

I'm sure it's a tricky balance being 'street' and grandfatherly but it's time to find it. If DJ Derek could do it, so can he.

In the 80’s and 90’s if you fancied someone of the opposite sex and wanted to chat then it want unusual to simply grab the persons arse by way of introduction and take it from there.

That went for both female and male.

It was a different era.
