Many reasons for the price increases - extra materials, profit margin per sale, less sales (think i'll be getting a home haircut every 1 in 2 times now!). The suppliers of PPE materials will be doing well though.
single use plastic issue gone by the wayside too.
plastic bag companies changed to aprons etc I guess.

The GF had her contract cancelled whilst lockdown was being announced and was escorted of the premises. Contracts that were 10 11 12 an hour before are now 8.50 an hour. Double whammy
If your referring to hourly pay, £8.50 is below the minimum wage so it’s illegal.
Just got in from work and seen your reply and asked her. You're right it's not 8.50 its 8.7andabit

I think I probably rounded down from 8.72 to 8.50 so my mistake.

We're now looking at ordering a Ferrari with the 22p an hour

I had a visit to the dentist, was expecting around £160 based on previous experience, this time £225.
