And I will but others are less fortunate than me and could come into contact with people like you or areas contaminated by people like you.
Now call me reactionary but if I was vulnerable I'd be taking extra precautions to avoid exactly that scenario not leaving it to others.
So how many years would you like them to self-isolate for because you wont take the vaccine?

I'm not anti-vax, I just won't benefit from this particular vaccine. I also don't have the seasonal flu jab as I don't need it. In a number of years I'll benefit from it and then I'll have it.

Why aren't you having the seasonal flu jab if your reason is altruism?
You may or may not benefit from a jab, although its a risky bet as plenty of youngish people have suffered organ damage (lungs mainly) after catching it. But its your friends and relatives (young or old) who stand to benefit. as you couldnt pass it on after the jab.
That is simply not true.
Yup.

So let's expand on this. The Karen's are going to be shoving their way to the front of the queue for a jab they don't really need thereby depriving those who would actually benefit from it. Protect the vulnerable...

We're not going to go from no vaccine to having 66 million shots suddenly available are we?
If the vaccine passes all the tests by Octoberish, SKB thinks its possible to jab the bulk of the population by EOY. Remember production started some time ago.
66 million doctors appointments. That's going to be some interesting logistics as they're currently doing primarily video and telephone consultations. I can't see a problem here at all
As you’ve never had the flu jab you clearly don’t know how it works...66 million doctors appointments laugh
I suppose we could have telephone inoculations? DIY?

I hate to break this to you, but lockdown has pretty much closed the NHS for elective procedures.
Again, with you not knowing how the flu vaccine is administered your opinion isn’t valid. It’s done in a very simple fashion and doesn’t require appointments, just a nurse a crate of jabs and the card that was sent to you. It’s even quicker than voting and the whole electorate can vote in under 24 hours. You are in and out in under 30 seconds and one surgery can do thousands a day with more than one nurse.

And there we have it, the perfect way to increase infections.
Wow. I’m seriously starting to wonder if your not just playing devils advocate but running out of logical arguments.

Thats how they administer the flu jab. The queue can be spaced.

Would you like to play with "1,000 per surgery per day" wink

I'll start you off with the fact that there's 480 minutes in an eight hour day. In a perfect world excluding tea and toilet breaks this means one person has to jab slightly over two people per minute to hit one thousand.

That's in a perfect world where all the paperwork is present, everyone turns up at the precise allocated minute and the person administering the jab has no interruptions.

It's pie in the sky thinking...
“Allocated minute” rofl

Please stop, my sides are killing me...

Anyone who has actually had a flu jab can tell you how quickly they can them done. One minute per patient is generous if they're in a hurry!
Exactly. It’s like walking through a turnstile at my surgery.

Any idea how effective the covid 'vaccine' will be?
No vaccine is 100% effective. Most routine childhood vaccines are effective for 85% to 95% of recipients.

Other than the fact that I've had every vaccine I've ever needed and I'll have the flu one when the time comes you're completely corre wrong.
Glad to see you’re taking advantage of all of this Sorcery and Magic Potions.

Masks are not effective. In fact they harm your health by restricting breathing and re-inhaling exhaust air. Next.
Can you provide some scientific proof of that claim please, not some hack job Web site but a proper genuine scientific paper that backs up your claim?

Time's ticking on that mythical vaccine. Are we getting it before Autumn?
Current hope is 1million doses by the end of September and the whole country having it by the end of the year. So far ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 appears to be safe in humans, effective in mice and is currently in the early stages of wide scale international stage 3 testing. All on target and I believe AZ are getting everything ready for mass production.
As this is the Oxford Vaccine will us Brits be getting it first or will the yanks have first dibs, like they always want to?

First 30 million doses have got the UK's name on them. British university, British company, it would be a travesty if Britons were at the back of the queue.

Making the stuff isn't the issue, making sure it works (to some degree) and get approved is the big problem.

The first phase 2b/3 read outs should be available in late August or early September. We're preparing the regulatory submissions now in anticipation of those read outs.
I don't know what discussion are being had with the regulators but they'll have to bring the assessment and approval times down somewhat. A standard marketing approval in Europe takes 210 days, an accelerated assessment is 150 days. This needs to be more like 30 days....
Is 30 million enough? Not even half the population.

Encouraging news from the vaccine trial.

To keep the anti vax loons happy, it does seem to have some side effects. Nothing that can't be cured with a paracetamol.
They’ll only say they don’t believe in taking paracetamol.

Up to a third of Brits polled won't take the vaccine if and when it's produced.

https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-up-to-a-thi...

WTF is wrong with some people???

Extract:

A third of Britons have said they are either unsure or definitely wouldn't use a vaccine for coronavirus, a poll suggests.

The survey, conducted on behalf of the Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), coincides with the release of a report by the same group into the spread of anti-vaccine misinformation online.

Members of the public who relied on social media more than traditional platforms for information were less likely to say they would get vaccinated, the poll suggests.
Perhaps they are amongst the 80% of people that will get either no or mild symptoms? Perhaps even the other 15% who get ill but don't need Hospital? Still less than 1% of infected people dying of course. If you are 80+ and / or have a compromised immune system then the vaccine is probably for you though ...

"The team found that nearly one in five people over 80 infected with covid-19 would probably require hospital admission, compared with around 1% of people under 30."

"They then estimated the infection fatality ratio (the percentage of all infected people who die from the disease, including those with mild disease) as 0.66% (0.39% to 1.33%)."

But yeah Trump Supporters.

TX.
Trump supporters? Got any more strawmen you can pull from my post?

You clearly don’t give a st about passing it on to the most vulnerable in society because you can’t be arsed to get a jab that takes all of 1 minute to administer at your local doctors surgery.

Well done you. An excellent addition to the human race. Lets hope it’s not the elders in your family that contract it.

It’s the fit younger people who are passing it onto the old/vulnerable/people. Everybody needs to be vaccinated.

I've reported your post for being inaccurate, the video doesn't match your title for it, and it's misinformed conspiracy dribble. Whether the mods do anything is another matter but if rather not see such wibble spread on here.
It's the way of the internet now and the sites that facilitate such nonsense in the name of free speech.

Apparently we are all free to spread lies and misinformation to others as if we don't allow it we are no better than North Korea.
