Like everyone in the bank, including me, we where wearing one because we had to.
Do you?
I have no valid reason not to wear one. I often have to wear one for many hours at work, so 10min in the bank is no big deal really.

We've been here before. Graveworm will say that the burden of proof is on the person claiming exemption, and that it would ultimately need to be decided in front of a magistrate, subsequent to a fine.
I beg to differ, and maintain that dragging people in front of a magistrate is an abuse of process. The police should accept someone's word and leave it at that.
I also think that it's all entirely political, with a few senior officers determined to show the public - well, those in Sainsbury's anyway - how they are protecting us all.
Have we seen any instances of people wearing an official-looking lanyard being fined?
I’ve been asked twice by the police to wear a mask.

Both times I’ve said I’m exempt and they’ve accepted it without a word.

So considering I was flat out lying, I suspect Graveworm is misinformed.

Recommending masks, not compulsory.

Also Sweden haven’t ruined their economy.

I was not passing an opinion, just thought it might be of interest.

Not surprised by the response from the "We won, by a lot" brigade smile

I just got an email from Costco stating that if you have an exception from wearing a face mask then you must wear a face shield instead.

Thats the first time I've seen that.

Probably, although if you want to use their shop, you’ll need to wear one whilst in store.

Or not shop there.

now, i'm no snob by any stretch of the imagination (Niles), but having now looked up what a Costco is i'd have worn PPE in there before all of this Covid crap started.

Haven't bothered with Costco for years, but the couple of times I went, my favourite things were those great big jars of chip-shop gherkins for about £3. smile

You get people with trolley after trolley of toilet rolls there too. confused

So is Costco sort of like Walmart?

No, it's more of a wholesale place where you pay an annual fee. Getting the jars of gherkins wasn't really worth the yearly fee.
