Why is it only ever Remainers who froth about immigration policy?
We need immigrants, and now can draw from the whole world on an equal basis for those that we need, some of which will be in highly paid roles, and some of which will be in essential, lower paid roles.
Point of order, I'm not a remainder (nor left winger). We need immigrants, and now can draw from the whole world on an equal basis for those that we need, some of which will be in highly paid roles, and some of which will be in essential, lower paid roles.
I do take issue with people who say they stand for one thing then do another, though.

I just watched the same interview and didn't see what you did.
I'm sure you didn't.https://twitter.com/hewitson10/status/131991162612...

Apologies for a couple of clips though I imagine the full interview will be online later.
I do like Naga Munchetty.
I can understand why you like Naga, she does tend to lose it when interviews don't go in the way she would like them to.

IMO, Bradley should hang his head in shame and so should anyone defending him. Bradley's mental gymnastics to weasel his way out of backing up his very own words are astounding.

I also take issue with people like that, but I think that government policy is to have greater control over immigration so that it matches the country’s need, rather than being against immigration per se.

No, I really did watch the same interview, and your links don't in my opinion contradict what I've written.
I can understand why you like Naga, she does tend to lose it when interviews don't go in the way she would like them to.
If you think that's a bloke "handling the interview quite well" I'd love to know what you think a bloke handling an interview badly looks like I can understand why you like Naga, she does tend to lose it when interviews don't go in the way she would like them to.

Is Boris attempting to re-toxify the Tory Party?
Twice in the past 24 hours, non-political friends of mine have used the expression "Tory Scum" - I haven't heard that expression for many a year
He really needs to sort out the PR around starving kids. With all his COVID and BREXIT woes to deal with, of all the hills to choose to die on, starving kids, surely the most avoidable.

And yet, this seemingly happens to you on every single subject in the thread.
Not really. We've covered three issues this week, and two of them passed without great controversy. This last one has been a different kettle of fish though - not only completely untrue claims about my beliefs, but also suggestions I'm mentally unwell, deplorable and so on. I'm beginning to suspect certain posters bear a bit of a grudge about something... what do you think? The thing is though, is that sometimes it makes you come across as a bit childish. Like those computer geeks who live with their mums but quite from the Art of War to show how worldly they are.
It’s ok to be outraged and outrageous stuff sometimes and I think a bit of humanity would go a long way to stopping people calling you names.
If you’re bothered that is, but why moan about it if not.

You are literally killing children with your every post in this thread.

You remind me of an old Uni friend who could never understand why every time he went out, someone started a fight with him. He just never figured out what the common factor was.

Here's Naga losing it with Ben Bradley.
'Crack den' tweets 'taken out of context', MP says
Odd that he should have deleted his tweets rather than explain the context.

Ben Bradley epitomises the very worst of tory ideology, he should resign immediately. He is an utter disgrace.'Crack den' tweets 'taken out of context', MP says

I’m afraid I’ve no idea who you are, but unlike Tuna, I couldn’t really care less what I remind you of. I’m not the one crying about people calling me names.

I don't think he should resign as an MP simply because of his views and opinions. At the end of the day he's been elected so it's for the local electorate to form a view on that.
He's got previous for things he's said in the past and they still voted for him.

Stick to emotive, specious arguments Tuna, like the rest of our GoodFaith™ posters. Bonus points if, when challenged, you just say that you're not bothered enough to actually read up on it (and then proceed to make another 40 specious surface level posts on the same topic)

Maybe starving kids come before obese kids in most people’s minds eh.
Where are these children dying of starvation?I realise you are just trolling for reaction, but using the very real problem of food poverty to do that is a very bad reflection on you.
