At what size does an aerosol become a droplet?

Do all size ranges transmit the virus?

I doubt homemade masks protect against <100?m particles.

I really struggle to believe the graphics / information on that page.

One person breathing aerosols in a pub will infect basically the entire pub within 4 hours (or whatever)? The modelling might say it is true but it seems totally unrealistic.

Likewise, the scaremongering example at the end of one person at a choir rehearsal apparently infecting 60 others and two of those dying seems to fail to acknowledge that the people involved could easily already have had it in their system, have caught it before/after the event, caught it at home from family...

I realise the question isn't directed at me, but I don't see any end in sight without a very successful and effective vaccine and that's not looking hugely likely, so it's kinda easy to see how you could conclude that the old normal is gone.

Even with a vaccine, it seems that we are being told we must continue to take it regularly because apparently the virus is like no other virus and we will not maintain any immunity against it.

That narrative, of course, would be used to justify us 'needing' to have 'Health Passports' to enter a public space, enter a workplace, enter a leisure venue, enter a food venue... and it seems they are already lined up and ready to go.

I wonder when they will be announced?

I'm placing my money on just after a vaccine has been rolled out.

Even if they only target the vulnerable with a vaccine, not being able to do anything without our special 'green status' would mean the clamour for vaccinations by the unthinking masses rather than any sort of pushback against the concept.
