Go and ask six million jews.We don't have laws on Nazi iconography, I thought because we didn't think a symbol was inherently racist, context used to matter. Even Germany allows swastikas in video games now - is that because they're racist?

That seems a bit insensitive.

I don't need laws to tell me why I think Fox used that.We don't have laws on Nazi iconography, I thought because we didn't think a symbol was inherently racist, context used to matter. Even Germany allows swastikas in video games now - is that because they're racist?
He's trying to make a comparison to Nazi Germany.
Not quite sure that displaying the Pride logo in Pride month is comparable to trying to wipe out an entire race but if you want to stick up for his right to post that st you fill your boots.

So tell us. What context do you think he was going for there? We don't have laws on Nazi iconography, I thought because we didn't think a symbol was inherently racist, context used to matter. Even Germany allows swastikas in video games now - is that because they're racist?

I can understand why LF did it - he's an attention seeking asshole, but I can't work out why anybody seeing this specific piece of anti-virtue signalling dog-whistling would leap to his defence?

I assumed, maybe I'm wrong, that he was just following the well worn path to invoke Godwin's law. Which, while not something many people are fans of, isn't normally considered racist, because it isn't a celebration of the Nazis but the opposite, a comparison drawn because it's about the most distasteful comparison the average person can reach for.Unless I've got the wrong end of the stick and he's really an LGBT and Nazi fan.

Who, prior to this post, said it was racist? If you are replying to my post I said he was racist, not that this is racist. It’s homophonic, transphobic, offensive, moronic and tasteless, but not definitely racist (although it could be).Fox, however, is racist, as shown by his previous behaviour.

This doesn’t scream mental health crisis to me, it says he’s a bit of a knob and a racist homophobe who has got caught up in a bunch of similar “anti woke” crazies that tells him this is a good thing.
But it seems others agreed that it was racist, even if you didn't think that. Or they're just being typically NP&E argumentative.768 said:

Laurence Fox is allowed back on Twitter and immediately hits out at Kathy Burke, London politicians and others who slammed him for posting a swastika made out of Pride flags
Scary thing is 300K people follow him on Twitter
