Didn’t even know the rules had changed, gave up months ago.

Will ride down the coast next weekend I think, from NE Wales down to Nefyn through Snowdonia, etc.

I thought it seemed busier yesterday!

I went to see my Girlfriend in Yorkshire for the first time in 3.5 months on friday. It would have been sooner but i didn't realise the no over night stays with bubbles had been lifted and I work some weekends.

Roads were great for a Friday. came home today and the roads were dead, the worst part was the south wales part of the M4. I didnt know its now a permanent 50mph. its hateful and pointless when so quiet.

Is the no overnight stays with bubbles a welsh thing? Or English? First I've heard of it. Although pretty pointless and unenforceable either way.

It was listed on the .gov site as part of the rules, it was dropped a while back but messed up my charismas and Jan planned visits. I only found out it was removed in late feb/early march when I checked the small print for updates. When I went previously (pre dec) I printed the rules out just in case i got pulled to save any arguments.

Ah. OK

We're attending my mum's funeral tomorrow in Porthcawl, and a 50 limit along the whole stretch would have meant an earlier leaving time for us.

Thanks for the info

I was in Porthcawl today, it's been getting very busy down there for a few weeks. Be aware that there have been a lot of roadworks around Bridgend if you are coming off the M4 at Pencoed. Some of the roads are just stop/start and queues at traffic lights.

Yes, I just fall into the lower age group, having turned 50, 4 months ago.

However I haven’t received any invite as of yet.

My friends in the cycling Club over the border in England, who fall in the same age group have all had their first vaccinations, some three weeks ago!

Drayford was on the tele this morning.

I haven’t really heard him speak before, as a Welsh man living in England for many years I’ve no interest in Welsh politics.

But he came across like an utter bellend.

Almost there guys and hopefully avoiding that 3d wave in UK... which is nice whoever you are blaming smile

This has been good real info - click the vaccines tab: https://public.tableau.com/profile/public.health.w...

Got on a reserve list for Felindre and since people were idiotically not turning up and since the Pfizer jab has a max life of 2 hours out of the fridge got myself and the wife jabbed last weekend beating our scheduled appointments by a good week. She actually cried with relief the dizzy mare but I think that says a lot - normality is almost back and we just have to live with this bug now and keep calm and carry on!

Over 40 year old roll out seems to be ticking over - and that is not just emergency lists.

That does bloody annoy me. People not turning up. Fair enough if you don’t want it,but let them know and someone else can have it. Pure selfishness.

Ten days since last post on a previously very active thread.

All is well in Wales as things get unlocked?

Looking back on the previous few pages and it seems Landcrab is now "anonymous-user" and has had (another) ban it seems.

Perhaps thats why this thread has gone quiet - the nutters have been removed - until they rejoin under another new username.

What is there too comment on drakeford is still a ragging penis many sectors still can't operate despite us going into lockdown 2 weeks earlier than the rest of the UK. Yes figures are good but it's not like that is unique to Wales it's the same across the UK as well as the vaccine roll out.

Surely they've got the reopening of shops the wrong way around and they could have promoted the smaller shops. Supermarkets were allowed to resume selling goods deemed non-essential from Monday 22nd March yet keeping non-essential retailers, including many small businesses, shut until 12th April.

Jane Dodds, leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats, had accused the Welsh government of "throwing many small shops and high streets under a bus".

"The Welsh Labour government has treated the High Street with complete contempt," she said.
