Unless your an independent shop owner or in hospitality in which case Drakeford has utterly screwed you over.
I know two small indy shop owners voting labour, three who run hospitality sector stuff with two voting labour and one plaid. Interestingly one voting labour who runs a pub is doing so as they think they will get more money and quick than if they voted conservative as they think the leader is incompetent.
Speaking to some who have been doing lots of doorstep style canvass for blue/red/yellow party people say drakeford is rating highly and its night and day compared to when they did it with corbyn about. Make of that what you will - and will soon know if its nonsense or the online noise was thin echo chambers etc.

He will stay as First Minister, wont be that much change from as it is now, so he probably won't be that arsed.
(Come back to me on Saturday to mark that work )
Or tonight! (Come back to me on Saturday to mark that work )
People like how pandemic has been handled - the online noise from the ranty few does not reflect the wider opinion.
I wish landcrab nutter was still about!

As Matt said low turnout plus sheep voting red in the south will always mean Wales remains red well apart from the north who looks to reject them.

Vale of Clwyd only one that shifted from Labour and that was by 300 odd votes and a recount? Not seen much data indicating a wholesale rejection.Plaid have had a bit of a mare, and there will be a big inquest on how Welsh Conservatives did not make inroads when rest of the UK is still swinging blue.

Easy sheep in Wales will always vote red and all the Welsh Tories did is tall about how bad labour are rather than what we will do for you. I think they are all a waste of space.
pembroke stayed tory - who was it said the Welsh would solidly reject Labour?Matt.. said:
It’s worth noting how incredibly low voter turnout is in Wales. Wales has a big problem with political apathy and I don’t see how that changes anytime soon.
"Turnout across Wales has been 46%, which is slightly lower than the record of 46.3% at the first Senedd election in 1999, but is significantly lower than turnout for general elections."This clip is apparently from a documentary - Prif Weinidog mewn Pandemig (First Minister in a Pandemic) that was broadcast on S4C in March.
Unfortunately, it's not available on catch up.

(Try opening it in a private/incognito tab if you experience problems)
Drakeford: Let's hope nobody is bright enough to ask "Is that 'should' as in regulation, or 'should' as in advice?".
Some other bloke: They're asking already.
Drakeford: Oh st! (mumble)
Other bloke: Across the UK.
Did anyone watch it? Was anyone bright enough? (If this was about a press conference, I suspect I know the answer.)

In his defence, all the UK administrations have chosen to blur the lines between law, guidance / advice.
The thing is the MSM have gone with the narrative provided to them and decided not to question it.
We then have instances such as the two women in Derbyshire who were fined for ‘not following the law’ when in fact they’d had and were within both the law and the guidelines...
But people have short memories...

One has to wonder why this has only emerged now, after polling day...??
I'm struggling to believe a video on YouTube, of a video, which supposedly existed for some time, and doesn't directly show the speaker.Rh14n said:
