So rather than me (repeating) why you know the square root of fk all about index performance (as others in the industry have done - with credentials) you could enlighten us to this mega trade you made, and how you computed for market and regulatory risk.
Your bluster and buffoonery is pitiful to see.

Are you Boris Johnson?

Don't confuse him. He wants a highly technical discussion distilled into Guardian Vs Telegraph headlines.

Again, the people who claim FS knowledge but come up technically short; is a disgrace. No wonder there is such negativity around the industry. It's poor form people like this Max chap think headline fluff is substitute for debate. Its been explained that sector weights and correlation to global events is NOT uniform to broad based index performance - by several people - we even gave the stocks, Evidently, Maz in all his remain splendor things that that's too complicated for the "everyman" to understand.

Come again who is arrogant, his next post will probably be why remain posters are smarter than the Brexit oiks fooled by Farage...

I notice that you always respond to questions in an overly technical way. Nothing that you've written above makes sense to everyday laypeople. if you have to answer a simple question in a complicated manner, you're either willy-waving, or trying to use bluster in your response. I suspect it is the latter - but each to their own.
And how is that technical? Just admit YOU are out of your depth. That was the most simple answer ever, you don't like it. Grow up with the small boy insults.
Oh look, there you go again. No coherent points to make so just throwing your toys around.

No, we are all waiting for this trade you claimed to have done that saw you beat the UK and the car crash that was coming,

C'mon, stop the deflection; answer the question.....

We can go all night, about this magic winning trade you did that ignored basic investment fundamentals?

Did you hedge the market risk, or was it simply directional punt?

I'm not throwing toys around, you are getting called out and drowning.

I'm not a trader I'm an investor, so there are no magic beans involved.

Positive results derive from a clear focus on global markets such as North America, and sectors such as pharmaceuticals, both of which have contributed significantly to excellent returns.

You are an ill-mannered clown, strutting about on an internet forum with the knowledge of a flea dressed up in technical language.

Not a particularly globally representative market. Been explained already S&P500 weightings, you bet on tech - not Brexit.

I was hoping for a better victory dance given the claim:

Happily, having identified the prudent approach of steering away from Pilot Boris and his determination to fly Aircraft UK into the side of a mountain, I'm substantially better off today than would otherwise be the case.

Haha. Been stuck in bed all day, possible onset of the Covpocalypse. Or just man flu.

I get a tad rattled when people make spurious claims about investment success. Hey, if you spanked it out the park on XLK (S&P500 tech sector ETF); congrats. But attributing it to Brexit or Boris, doesn’t say investing rather punting.

Any such nonsense detracts from reasoned debate. FoM versus Immigration (less of the former, more of the later please), look how that one gets derailed. Even the wins and losses of Brexit are not what many think. Was LCH extended equivalence and EURO clearing a win, with ESMA still retaining oversight? From a sovereignty standpoint, probably not; but it was for systematic stability, the industry and common sense.

The mods might get fed up with your trolling if you're not careful Mr Demon. Or is it time for another name change of shame?

Liz Truss
@trussliz

5th round trade talks have started with our great ally the US.

We’re intensifying negotiations so we are in a good position to move forward after the US election.

We want a deal that delivers for all parts of the United Kingdom and is forward-leaning in modern areas like tech & services.

Might be wishful thinking given polling in the US which seems to favour Biden

The remoaners are in proper meltdown in there.
It's bizarre how they don't want to see better terms with our oldest ally.
