Tell us about when it actually happens rather than claiming victory for a "maybe".

Its the sign of a poor sales person that they are always just about to "sign Mr.X or Mrs Y".

Imo Canada should be a piece of piss to sort.

Reason for me saying dont count claims:

Hard of thinking greet it with "good news" and it starts a circle jerk for no discernible benefit.

Its not news till its signed!!!!

I didn't count claims, I gave a link to the words of someone important to the process.

So now you are saying what people involved say is not news? That's a good one.

Of course it's news, what it isn't is a treaty. No one has yet stated it's a treaty.

Tuna stated it correct when he mentioned grasping at straws.

I actually pity them. Imagine going to bed at night knowing deep down you've screwed your Country due to pig ignorance.

So the reason for you saying "don't count claims" was made 14 minutes after you said "don't count claims"?

Can I borrow your crystal ball for tomorrow's euro millions?

Reason was Andymak said "good news" - treating it as a victory.

People in talks will always say positive things.
Especially when you consider Commonwealth - Commonwealth aspect.

Its not news - yet could and probably would have started a circle-jerk 2 page backslap session.

I've got an idea for a new, hugely profitable post-Brexit business...

I love that there is still a leave vs remain attitude on here, long after we have left!
I'm just sitting tight and waiting for any positives to come along...

andymadmak is going to be disappointed that you've confused him with a moron like me rofl

You've jumped the gun bud. I took his post at face value and used it as an excuse to post my anti-Trudeau bile smile

It wasn't Andy - and Amusing Duck posted about it being "good news" 14 minutes after your post...

So it's an amazing reason, predicting the future like that.

Or, you're talking utter ste...

On a wider note, is 'who moved most...given a pro-EU biased view' all that remains of Remain? If so, how sad.
They are probably still holding out for dead pensioners and a second vote....

I didn't vote for this - but I'll be damned if people who can't get over losing a vote five years ago want to drive the country into the ground because their noses are out of joint.

We've got no choice but to negotiate the best deal possible for the country. This is not a re-run of the referendum, it's preparation for life outside of the EU.
